Flipkart — Delivered Damaged Refrigerator for two times and cancelled the return request

I purchased a Whilpool Triple Door Refrigerator from FLIPKART with order id- OD[protected]. DATED – 01/08/2022 worth INR 35, 890.The order was delivered on the very next day i.e. 02/08/2022.

At the time of placement of order, the demo & installation date was scheduled on 03/08/2022. I have mentioned to the Flipkart delivery that the product is damage and requested for Replacement. They were suppose to take the product back as per the OTP Policy of the Flipkart. Flipkart Delivery Agent denied and asked to place the replacement. The executive from Whirlpool reached my place on 03/08/2022 and after checking Dent was seen on the front side of the Refrigerator body which might have happened while shipping the product. Whirlpool agent took the images of the damage and mentioned the same in the Job sheet.

The very same day, I raised a replacement request on flipkart as per the return policy of 10 days which is also scheduled by Flipkart as on what day, the undergoing work will proceed- Replacement ID: [protected]. According to their schedule, the replacement was done on 5-Aug-2022 and delivery agent has seen the replacement product was also damaged and took the images of the product. I have refused the replacement of the damaged product delivery. He mentioned that I don’t need to worry and said “As the replacement product is also damage, I will raise the return of the product and the return will be done by tomorrow which is 6-Aug-2022. There is no one visited from Flipkart. The Installation guy from Whirlpool came, saw the damage of the product and took the images of the damage and mentioned the same as damage in the Whirlpool Job Sheet. I have raised the return request on the same day and Flipkart site is updated with the Refund Requested Refund ID: [protected].

The status was updated in the Flipkart site as the Resolution time by 8-Aug-2022. After multiple followups, Flipkart Customer support requested to wait until 8-Aug2022. On 8-Aug-2022 evening, I received a flash notification on my mobile from Flipkart that it has been postponed to 11th August 2022 with out an intimation. I chased with the Flipkart team for the status updates as I don’t see any updates in the Flipkart App or Online Flipkart. On 10-Aug-2022, I see the status as Return Request has been canceled on 5th August 2022.

Disappointingly, till date no technician has shown up. Despite the constant follow up with the technicians the visit has still not happened and my replacement/Replacement request is still not processed, due to which I am unable to use the product since the last 9 days.

I hope this issue gets resolved with a proper action being taken against the Flipkart & Their seller IWQNBecommerce (BATHLA TELETECH PVT LTD, Madhakondapalli Village, Denkanikotta Taluk, Hosur, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu - 635114) who trick hardworking people into their malicious traps.
