[Resolved] Flipkart — fake hush puppies shoes from flipkart

I bought a hush puppies zeal slip on shoes pair by paying about 3k rupees on 25 dec 17. The order no is od[protected]. The product looked fake / duplicate by the finish when i received it but i trusted flipkart here and started using the product.

I wore it for the fourth day today and noticed in office that the shoe sole is actually getting separated from the leather at the back. I use quite a few hush puppies products and i was shocked to see this.

Called up flipkart support and twice they hung op on me. Third guy talked in authoritative tone and clarified that no shoe on flipkart has warranty. I checked amazon and the same shoe comes with a 90 day warranty.

Of course they refused to do anything about it. And i have probably no option but to throw the product since the sole is rubber and cannot be stitched or anything.

I'm forced to believe that flipkart is selling fake products.

Updated by anupyash I got an email from Flipkart Customer Care (incident no: IN[protected] mentioning that they have been calling me but not able to connect. I replied to them that I haven't got any call from Flipkart after 25th Jan night when I had called them and later created this complaint. I have told them my availability and let's see if they are able to resolve this.

In the meantime, here is the photo of the faulty shoe which didn't even last a month / 4 usages. I have four more pairs of shoes, three of which are Hush Puppies and they all are working fine. In fact, one pair Hush puppies shoes has last me more than two years of extensive use.

Will keep you posted.

Flipkart Customer Care's response Customer raised complaint regarding product damaged, we have interacted with customer and informed as an exception we can take the return but needs brand box and all the accessories. But customer clearly told apart from shoes i dont have anything apologized and informed customer request cannot be taken he agreed closing the case from our team

Updated by anupyash Spoke with the FK team as written above by their Executive. They say that I will have to return them the box and price tag. Who would keep a box and price tag after a month anyway? He said then we cannot do anything, to which I said "okay".

The question remains: Why there is no warranty on the product on Flipkart while the offline store is giving one (I just confirmed) and Amazon has it. The seller was RetailNet which is FK's own company, I suppose.

Now either the product is fake or the product is so old that it has crossed shelf life. I read another review on the product page of FK and the user has the same issue and struggling with replacement as well.

And with the above update, I think they have closed the case and my money is gone!
