Writing this out of extreme disappointment and frustration regarding my recent order placed on Flipkart, which was clearly promised as SAME DAY DELIVERY at the time of purchase.
I placed this order specifically for my daughter’s birthday, trusting Flipkart’s delivery commitment. Today, 4 days have passed, and I have still not received the products. The birthday has already passed, and the entire purpose of ordering from Flipkart instead of other platforms is now completely defeated.
What is even more unacceptable is that:
Every attempt to contact customer support results only in automated responses
There is no clear update, no accountability, and no resolution
I opted for No-Cost EMI, and now I am being told that cancelling the order will result in non-reversible bank charges, which means I am financially penalized for Flipkart’s failure
This is not a minor delay — this is a false delivery promise, leading to:
Emotional distress (a ruined birthday for a child)
Financial loss (EMI charges despite no delivery)
Loss of trust in Flipkart as a platform
Had the correct delivery timeline been shown, I would have ordered from another seller or platform. Making delivery promises and failing to honor them, while trapping customers in EMI penalties, is unacceptable and misleading.
