Flipkart — Faulty Product Delivered | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, I have placed an order for MOTO G on 8th Feb 2014 vide order number OD[protected]. I was very happy and thrilled to receive the product even after 10 days long wait. But i was really disappointed when i found the product is not functioning. I immediately contacted Motorola Customer Care and explained about the phone's issues (screenshots attached). They have advised me to return the phone to Flipkart. But, i asked them for Service Centre address near to my location. They have given me the address of CCom Telecommunications. I sent my office boy to CCom and they said they will have to keep the phone for a day for observation. But after keeping the phone for a day, finally they have said this is a defective set delivered and should be returned to Flipkart. In between i had given a complete update about this development to the Customer Care[protected]. I spoke to Reetu at around 4:10 p.m. yesterday and she said, i am logging a complaint and our technical team will revert back to you with a solution within 24 hrs. I waited for 24 Hrs. and again gave a call today at 4:45 p.m. and spoke to Arindam Chatterjee. He told me the complaint is already been launched and i shall be receiving a call by today end of the day or by tomorrow. Now, as a first customer of Flipkart, i have following queries: 1. Why i have been delivered a defective product? I think any Electronic Product has to go through quality checks before it is delivered to the customer. Why it is not done in this case? (if it would have been done, i would have not got a defective product) 2. As a first time customer, what is the impression/experience i am getting about Flipkart? 3.
