Flipkart — Flipkart exchange offer- a real scam

The Flipkart exchange offers are scam. They will show you reasonable price as the exchange value for your old item and then you will proceed with the order believing you only need to pay the remaining amount. Once the delivery executive come for pickup of the old item, they will try to find minor issues like scratches and bring the exchange value so low and ask us to pay the remaining amount. But because we have already formatted our old device (mobile/laptop etc) and waiting for new device mentally, most people will pay the amount they asked and get the item. I faced this once with mobile phone and then with a Laptop exchange. Both times I left the issue as it is and didn't follow up further. But today I faced the issue again with exchange of a washing machine. This time I have decided to follow up and spread awareness and that is why writing here. So here is my issue.

I ordered a washing machine with exchange offer from Flipkart and my old washing machine was quoted a price of Rs 1950 if there are no issues and Rs 1657 if there is issue like "drum not rotating". Please see the screenshot attached. I was looking for a new washing machine because of drum not rotating issue. So I proceeded with the order believing the advertised price for exchange and today the new washing machine got delivered and while pickup of old washing machine, the technician reported the "drum not rotating issue" only. He even showed me while filling the comments and the generated value shown for my old washing machine was just Rs 525 only. When I checked with him, he told me to contact customer care as he don't have any role in calculating the exchange value. And for the delivery of the new washing machine, he collected Rs[protected] from me. So I contacted customer care via chat for refund for difference difference amount (what was promised - what was given), that is 1657 - 525 = RS 1132) and multiple executives joined the chat at different times one after the other and gave standard responses like "your item will be delivered today, the exchange value depends on the technician etc". After 3 hours wasted for contacting the pathetic support team, I disconnected the chat and left. Tried to contact Flipkart via Facebook page and till now no resolution.
