[Resolved] Flipkart — flipkart is asking for my aadhar card | |||
Sir, My self shubham singh, i am a regular customer of flipkart (Id - [protected]@gmail.com) (Reg. Mobile no. [protected]) On (28/06/2020) i have ordered a luggage box which is blue in colour but mistakenly or what i have received black colour bag, i want to return the bag and want blue bag but they have sent an email to me and asking for my aadhar or pan which is completely irrelevant, in return policy they have not mentioned as such, and this is also my breach for privacy I want to return my bag without submitting aadhar nor pan card Date of incident — purchased online (28/06/2020) received (30/6/2020) I want that 1) flipkart tell me on which basis they forcefully asking me for my id card only that that i have asked to return my order!!?? 2) return my order without submitting my personal document This is an mental torture for me i am a prime member of flipkart and done lakhs rupees of shopping previously. I am a customer with Flipkart and recently I tried to update my mobile number while sending mail via my Registered email address with Flipkart. However, Flipkart is asking me to provide them a Goverment id proof like Aadhar Card which I certainly do not want to provide to an Online Retailer's outsourced 3rd Party Customer care due to Privacy risks.
I have stated my concerns to them and asked them to validate my identity by sending me a mail at my registered email address. My old mobile number (880***8583) belong to Aircel and it stopped working ever since Aircel closed down. And since long I have been procuring products from Flipkart without any concern. However they have recently sent me an inferior quality Study Table at an inflated cost and I wanted to escalate it to their customer care however was unable to receive any call from them as previous/currently registered number is non functional. Hence, I wanted to update my current mobile number (ending with 7982) however Flipkart is not addressing to my grievance as a customer nor have they updated my mobile number.
