I purchased a mobile phone from Flipkart in April 2025, which was advertised and sold as a brand-new product. However, after checking the device details, I discovered that the phone had already been activated back in the year 2001, clearly indicating that it was used or refurbished, despite being sold as new.
I raised a complaint through Flipkart's customer care. Initially, I was assured the issue would be resolved by June 4, 2025, then it was postponed to June 5, followed by another delay of 24 hours. Later, I received a call from their executive asking me to wait 14 more days, with no guarantee of resolution even after that. This is highly unacceptable and misleading.
Flipkart is clearly misrepresenting products and misleading customers, which amounts to unethical business practices.
I demand an immediate full refund or a replacement with a genuine new, unused device. If not resolved within 48 hours, I will proceed with further legal action through the Consumer Court.
