Sir I am Bikram Behera

I am trying to make a purchase using a HDFC credit card. This is a card I have used with Flipkart many times before and am using with other vendors (eg Amazon) regularly. I received the message "transaction was declined on the basis of risk checks" (see attached screen print).
Please advise how to clear this, so that I can make payments as before.
I wish to make a purchase.I have subsequently received one standard response after another promising this issue will be resolved in 24 hours, 48 hours... It's now 1 weeks later!! Appalling response from customer care. No response from anyone with any sensible information. Just the same standard responses. Seems impossible to get to someone who can resolve the problem. Does Flipkart want customers???

      As Per Description in the item I purchased there should be a stainless-steel Barbeque grill free with the Cooktop, attached screenshot for reference, but it was not there, I contacted customer care several time One and first executive by the name of Souvik (12th March, 2025) was created a return for refund as he understood this totally injustice or mislead, on very next day probably I got from seller end or from Flipkart, one lady was speaking and said that it was open box delivery you have checked all and shared OTP & taken the delivery, by saying this the lady rejected my return for refund on 13th March, 2025.

      Then again I called customer care Flipkart and spoken with another customer executive and explained all the thing again he said that he has only option to create a free replacement on return, I said that if the free replacement cooktop come with free Barbeque grill then there is no issue, but the executive can not provide assurance & said that it would be probably the same item, then I ask him to transfer to the Senior Department but the Senior was not available at that moment the executive said that I would get a call from senior department. raised a concern and said that it will be resolved by 16th March, 2025, but I got a call from one lady again on 14th March, 2025( not sure it was from seller end or the Flipkart), the lady was saying the same thing again & again and all of a sudden the call disconnected.

      As per Flipkart & the Seller conversation that the item KAPLI 2500 W Radiant Cooktop Touch Panel should come with 1 Infrared Cooktop, 1 User Manual with Warranty Card only.
      So here open box delivery policy doesn’t fit, because as per Flipkart end conversation there is no free Barbeque grill supposed to come with KAPLI 2500 Cooktop. Whether it is open box delivery or normal delivery the item would not come with free Barbeque Grill.

      I tried another way to make them understand that let’s assume I didn’t follow the item description & all I simply ordered the item and got the delivery of this item, all of sudden I come to see that I should get a Free Barbeque grill with this Cooktop, so I contacted you guys(Flipkart Customer Support) to raise my concern that too even within your 7 days return policy as per Mislead Information/Advertisement Indian Law and Order(Consumer Protection Act, 2019). But they simply denied everything and ignored my concern.
      I shared all the necessary screenshots that proves the Mislead Advertisement and also all the hassle I had to face due ignorance of Flipkart as well as the Seller. I also shared the website’s downloaded version of the website as the seller can change the description whenever they want.
      I simply requested the free part which was promised on the website and if you can not provide that simply take the item return and refund my money. But they didn’t.

      Hence my simple request is now to give refund without returning the item as I had to face mentally torture as well as felt financially harassing, I also request if they get penalty as per Indian penal code for Misleading Advertisement or Mislead to the Customer as Per Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

      Just in case, if I need to return the item for refund, I’m agree with that too but only condition with an apology letter to the customer for their fault.

          Hi, I recently redeemed my PNB Bank Reward points for Flipkart E-Vouchers. I received the confirmation along with the card details, including the card number and PIN/activation code. However, when I try to add the card in the Flipkart gift card section, it shows as invalid.

            Status is showing out for delivery but not getting delivered, After calling helpdesk on daily basis i am getting revised date of delivery. Though i have confirmed availability of myself at home, no one turned to deliver the item till date.

              I ordered an Acer Nitro V AMD Ryzen 5 Hexa Core 7535HS laptop from Flipkart order id-OD[protected] on January 23, 2025, and received it on January 28, 2025. Upon unboxing, I noticed display bleeding and immediately requested a replacement on January 29, 2025. Flipkart provided a replacement deadline of February 17, with a technician visit scheduled by February 11—which never happened.

              Details of the Issue:
              • Order Date: January 23, 2025
              • Delivery Date: January 28, 2025
              • Issue: Display bleeding on arrival
              • Replacement Request Date: January 29, 2025
              • Replacement Deadline: February 17, 2025
              • Technician Visit Deadline: February 11, 2025 (Never Happened)

              Timeline of Events:
              1. February 12: I contacted Flipkart customer support, and they asked me to contact the brand directly, claiming it was not their issue.
              2. Upon contacting the brand, I was informed that Flipkart never registered any complaint regarding my issue. I had to personally raise a complaint with the brand.
              3. February 13: The brand’s technician inspected the laptop and issued a DOA (Defective on Arrival) certificate, which was required for the replacement. The product was then sealed for return.
              4. February 17: No replacement was provided. Days passed without any update from Flipkart.
              5. February 21: Flipkart canceled my return request and generated a new replacement request with a new deadline of March 13.
              6. March 11: The delivery agent arrived with the replacement unit but refused to replace the product. He claimed he needed to inspect it for damage, but since the product was sealed, he canceled the delivery on the spot.
              7. Upon contacting Flipkart customer support, they initially confirmed that the delivery agent had no right to refuse the replacement. However, after speaking with the hub head, they canceled the delivery and told me a new request would be generated. When I insisted on an immediate resolution, they refused, stating it was “beyond their control.” After much argument, they said they would escalate the issue via email, asking me to wait another 24 hours.

              My Concerns:
              • I have waited over 40 days for a simple replacement, facing continuous delays, miscommunication, and unprofessional service.
              • Flipkart failed to register my complaint with the brand, forcing me to handle the process on my own.
              • The technician visit was never scheduled, violating Flipkart’s own replacement process.
              • My replacement request was canceled and re-initiated without any valid reason, further delaying the resolution.
              • The delivery agent wrongfully refused to replace a sealed product, contradicting Flipkart’s policies.

              Requested Resolution:
              1. Immediate approval and completion of my replacement without any further delays.
              2. Strict action against Flipkart for their negligence, miscommunication, and failure to resolve my issue in a timely manner.
              3. Compensation for the extreme inconvenience, delays, and frustration caused by this mishandling.

              I urge ConsumerComplaints.in to take strict action against Flipkart for their failure to provide proper service and their unethical handling of customer issues. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the issue further through legal channels, social media, and consumer forums.

                        I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent order (Order No: OD[protected] that arrived missing items.

                        I have ordered 3 bottles of perfume but received only two, same day we registered complaint with photo proof for replacement. Next day courier person came but not pick up. Because he got image some other.

                              I am filing this complaint against Flipkart for unfair trade practices and lack of resolution regarding an issue that has been affecting my ability to place prepaid orders on their platform.

                              For the past several days, I have been unable to place any prepaid orders on Flipkart. Whenever I attempt to pay using debit/credit cards, UPI, or other prepaid methods, I receive an error message stating: "Transaction declined on the basis of risk checks." However, I am still able to place orders using Cash on Delivery (COD) without any issues.

                              Despite multiple attempts to contact Flipkart’s customer support, they have been unable to provide any valid reason for this restriction. The representatives themselves seem unaware of why this issue is occurring and have failed to offer a resolution. This has caused me significant inconvenience, as I am unable to make prepaid purchases, avail Flipkart-exclusive discounts, or use my preferred mode of payment.

                              Complaint Details:
                              Nature of Issue: Prepaid orders getting declined due to unexplained "risk checks, " while COD orders work fine.

                              Attempts to Resolve: Contacted Flipkart’s customer support multiple times, but they failed to provide a resolution.

                              Impact on Consumer Rights:
                              Unfair restriction on my ability to make purchases freely.

                              1 . Lack of transparency in Flipkart’s risk-check policies.

                              2. Financial inconvenience, as prepaid transactions often come with exclusive discounts and cashback offers.

                              3. Poor customer service, with no clear resolution provided.

                              Relief Sought:

                              1. Immediate removal of the restriction on my account so I can place prepaid orders without any issue.

                              2. A proper explanation from Flipkart regarding the reason for these risk checks.

                              3. Action against Flipkart for failing to provide adequate customer support and restricting payments without justification.

                              4. A directive to Flipkart to improve its customer service and transparency regarding payment restrictions.

                              Flipkart’s actions are causing unnecessary difficulties for legitimate customers, violating fair trade practices and consumer rights.
                              I look forward to your intervention in this matter.

                                Dear Consumer Complaints Team,

                                I am writing to formally complain about an issue I am facing with Flipkart regarding my recent purchase of a Panasonic Split AC. Below are the details of my purchase:

                                Order Date: 28th February 2025
                                Delivery Date: 1st March 2025
                                Installation Date: 2nd March 2025
                                During the installation, the service technician requested the purchase invoice for warranty registration. However, when I attempted to download the invoice from the Flipkart app, I encountered an error preventing me from accessing it.

                                Since then, I have raised multiple complaints with Flipkart, requesting them to provide me with the invoice, but they have failed to do so. Without the invoice, I am unable to register for the product warranty, leaving me unprotected in case of future issues with the AC.

                                This raises serious concerns about the authenticity of the product Flipkart has sold me. Their refusal to provide the invoice makes me suspect that they might be selling unauthorized or fake products. If my AC encounters any issues in the future, who will be responsible for the repair costs since I was unable to register the warranty due to Flipkart's negligence?

                                I request immediate action against Flipkart for their poor service and for withholding the invoice. Please ensure that they provide me with my invoice at the earliest, as it is my right as a consumer.

                                I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of my complaint.
