My gift card with flipkart (Inr 3, 500/-; id no. [protected]) has been fraudulently transferred to a email address: [protected]@gmail.com. I came to know about the transfer through a mail from flipkart and have not authorised any such transfer.
I have raised the issue with flipkart's customer service team, as evident from the attached mail trail below. I have also posted the issue on flipkart's facebook page - link: (Https://www.facebook.com/flipkart/posts/[protected]? Comment_id=[protected]&reply_comment_id=[protected]¬if_t=feed_comment¬if_i...⇄ I had a call with mr. Kaushik from flipkart's facebook team yesterday and as suggested by him, i have asked the original buyer of the gift card (Mr. Neelotpal goswami; [protected]@yahoo.com) to send an email to flipkart. This e-mail and phone number of the original buyer is also attached below.
After taking all these steps, i have received the last e-mail from flipkart's customer service team, which states that since a order has already been placed using the stolen money, flipkart would be unable to help. However, as this issue has been reported on time, flipkart has all the power to stop delivery to the hacking party's address. As evident from other people posting on flipkart's fb page, the same hacker ([protected]@gmail.com) has been stealing money from other people's flipkart wallet as well.
I hope the grievance team would take quick steps and arrange for transfer of money back to my account. Was this information helpful? |
