Flipkart Internet Private Limited — Urgent Complaint: 1 of 5 Units Missing, Damaged Package and Wrongful Refund Rejection (Return Window Ends 14 Oct 2026)

I am writing to formally complain about an order I placed on Flipkart, where I received fewer items than I paid for and the seller has rejected my refund request.

Issue:
1. I ordered 5 units but the package contained only 4 units. One unit is missing.
2. The outer box was in poor, damaged condition on delivery.
3. This order did not offer open-box delivery, so I could not check the contents at the time of delivery. I accepted the package in good faith and checked it carefully immediately afterwards, and found only 4 units inside.
4. I raised a complaint for the missing item on the Flipkart platform. The seller has rejected my refund request instead of acknowledging the shortfall in their dispatch.

I have paid in full for 5 units and received only 4. The damaged outer packaging supports my claim that the package was mishandled or tampered with before reaching me. The seller's rejection is unjustified.

My request:
1. Reverse the seller's rejection and approve a refund for the missing unit, or send the missing unit immediately.
2. Investigate the shipment, including the weight recorded at dispatch and at delivery, the packaging, and any warehouse or delivery-partner records.
3. Ensure my return/complaint window, which closes on 14 October 2026, is not allowed to lapse while this is being resolved. Please extend it or keep the case open if needed.

I am attaching photos of the damaged box, the contents showing only 4 units, and the shipping label.

I expect a prompt resolution.
