[Resolved]  Flipkart — laptop invoice does not contain serial number of the laptop

I have purchased a lenovo ideapad l340 core i7 9th gen - (8 gb/1 tb hdd/256 gb ssd/windows 10 home/4 gb graphics/nvidia geforce gtx 1650) l340-15irh gaming laptop" from flipkart and the seller is retailnet.

I have got the invoice of my laptop in my registered email address and without a hardcopy of the same inside the box. But it is to my surprise that the serial number of the laptop has not been mentioned in the invoice. You know serial number is very important for warranty.

Lenovo would not extend my warranty unless i have the serial number on the invoice

Therefore i have requested flipkart customer care and the seller retailnet to please send me another copy of the invoice in my registered email address containing serial number of the laptop.

Flipkart responded to my complaint and informed me that the seller retailnet can't modify the invoice.

So my question is, if software used by flipkart allows seller to generate invoice without serial number then there should be a facility to modify it. I think this is not the solution.
Please help me.
