I ordered one plus 7 mobile in flipkart but I lost the mobile when i was travelling to Hyderabad. I filed a compliant in the nearest police station in Madhapur, Hyderabad regarding the mobile lost on 11/01/2020 giving up the IMEI number Over my Invoice shared by flipkart at the time delivery and respectively case id LR No: 74866/2020 has been generated. But after 12 days my case got rejected saying " Dear sir/madam, you have mentioned invalid IMEI number, please reapply with valid IMEI number". Further when i verified the IMEI number of the Invoice shared to me during delivery with the IMEI number on the One Plus mobile box, it was a MISMATCH. As discussed with an Police Officer at the Madhapur Police Station, they asked if I require to file a new case I need to go to Hyderabad, whereas my work Base location is Bangalore, and this effecting me with lots of other trouble. Also 12 days have just got wasted of mine in this case where in I was expecting a positive response and my case itself got rejected because of the carelessness happened in printing and delivering the Invoice.
I have already filed the compliant at Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India which generated a Docket Number 1866434. I expect a compensation from Flipkart which ends this to resolve state. Henceforth, if no action taken in 7 days, the case will move legally. Hereby, I attach all the evidences for my statement proof.
