[protected]-Beware Of FlipKart[protected]- I have bought a Moto X Play through Flipkart on Sep 15th by Cash On Delivery option worth of 19999/-. There was 8 offers for those who bought inbetween Sep15th-20th. I have recieved the product on Sep 18th and paid the amount by Debit card. One of the offer was 100% Cash back for 100 lucky customers. On Sep20th, I have received a mail that 19999/- will be refunded to my account. I was very much happy about being one of the 100 lucky customers and so I got refunded. As Sep 20th was Sunday, I called Flipkart Customer care on Sep 21st for enquiry about refund. Here comes the actual problem: Flipkart Customer care told me that I have called them and told that I have received an Empty box and it doesn't contain a product and asked for Refund. Flipkart customer care also told me that I have given an account details over phone to which Flipkart transferred the amount of 19999/-. I was shocked when I heard that my account got hacked. I made them clear that I haven't called flipkart customer care and I have received the product and using it. Then Flipkart took a complaint and I was asked to wait till investigation gets over. All I was asking was 2 assured offers out of 8 which are 1. 1000/- Flipkart Voucher 2. 500/- worth BookMyShow tickets 3. Compensation for other offers as I was no more considered for lucky draw due to the status of order is in Returned. They have done some investigation but at the end they told me as the refund is already done I will be not be eligible for any of the offers. Are you thinking How Flipkart transferred money to someother account just like that? Here it is: As I mentioned, I recieved the product on Sep 18th. On Sep 19th, I was worrying about the offers which I did not recieve as part of the product. Hence, I saw Flipkart fan page in Facebook where many people use to post their Order IDs and enquire about their issues. So I decided to post on Flipkart fan page in a same manner. All I did mistake was posting a Order number on Public forum. As part of investigation, one Flipkart guy (Suresh) came to meet me in person that is when I got to know how Flipkart was tricked to refund money to his account. Suresh showed me from which Flipkart got call from for refund. [protected] [protected] These numbers belongs to UP West. I got to know this by searching these numbers in True Caller. Suresh asked me to listen the call recordings as well. First, the person from UP (Let's call him X) got to know order number and my name from Flipkart facebook page. First, he called Flipkart and claimed that he is Kranthi and that he did not recieve the invoice and asked for another copy of invoice over his mail id and flipkart sent the invoice to him. Now X has all the product related information, my phone number, address etc. He called Flipkart again and now he told he did not recieve the product and received only an empty box and given the account details for refund. Somehow X was able to convince the Flipkart customer care and got refunded. Suresh told me that he will put a police complaint to know the details of that particular account and revert back to me in 3 days time. 4 days over and I did not get any call from him and I decided to call him, He told me that Bangalore police cannot take this complaint and its not flipkart issue. Consumer has to give a complaint in Narora. OMG!!! And that's it investigation over!!! The Flipkart Refund process is so naive that they did not receive the call from Registered number and taken the bank account details over phone without any verification and refunded the amount. I have been followingup with Flipkart till 20th Sep, explaining this story for half an hour as everytime a new customer care executive will pick the call and I got nothing out of it.
