I placed a prepaid order on Flipkart on 25 September 2026 for ZEBRONICS A Series 22-inch Full HD LED Monitor (Zeb-A122 FHD LED) for ₹4, 735, which was paid through UPI. The order was confirmed by Flipkart and the expected delivery date was 28 September 2026.
However, even on the promised delivery date, the order has not been shipped.
I contacted Flipkart Customer Support through chat regarding the delay. The customer support representative informed me that the order would be cancelled and advised me to place a fresh order for the same product.
This is highly unfair because the price of the same monitor has now increased to approximately ₹6, 000. I have already paid ₹4, 735 on 25 September 2026 and have fulfilled all my obligations as a customer. If Flipkart cancels my confirmed prepaid order and asks me to purchase the same product again at the increased price, I will suffer a financial loss of approximately ₹1, 265, despite there being no fault on my part.
I fail to understand why the customer should bear the additional cost resulting from the seller/Flipkart's failure to dispatch a confirmed prepaid order.
I therefore request Flipkart to honour my existing order and deliver the same product at the original confirmed price of ₹4, 735, without requiring me to pay any additional amount. Cancellation and asking me to reorder at a higher price should not be treated as an acceptable resolution.
