[Resolved] Flipkart — od[protected] spacewood bed | |||||
Ordered a bed from flipkart in nov 2018. The same was broken and damaged on delivery. The installation guy found the damage after installation itself and advised me to raise a return request. I immediately created a return and flipkart assigned a technician to visit my residence to inspect the bed. The technician refused to come since he claimed to be from noida and he was unable to travel all the way to south delhi. He repeatedly cancelled the visit and my return request was delayed multiple times. I requested flipkart to arrange any other technician to which they cancelled my return request. I had to mail them to which they arranged the same technician who again refused to visit. I gave up on flipkart and ordered another bed from amazon whose installation was completed within 2 days and the bed is still in perfect condition. Communicating over 50 times, flipkart finally arranged a different technician in january 2019 but he still did not come and i had to call the supervisor. After a couple of weeks, he came and uninstalled the bed on january 21st 2019. For nearly 4 months the bed was lying in my house occupying space. On january 22nd, flipkart called me and informed me they cannot refund me the amount and i have to settle with that bed only. They can only arrange a replacement. I told them i do not need a replacement anyhow because i had already arranged another bed in november 2018 itself and in no way i needed another bed. I need my money back. Moreover, the combination of the same bed with same technician and same downgraded quality of service provided by flipkart and jeeves (The installation company) is a very deadly combination. I need flipkart to take back the bed from my residence at the earliest and refund me the amount paid along with interest against withholding my money for over 4 months. I need the pickup to be completed by this weekend failing which i shall opt for legal advice from my lawyer. Best regards. Was this information helpful? | |||||
Feb 6, 2019 Complaint marked as Resolved Flipkart refunded the amount after multiple phone calls but are yet to send any apology regarding the harassment of 4 months. Verified Support Feb 04, 2019 Flipkart Customer Care's response Customer raised a complaint stating that the product delivered is damaged. We have interacted with the customer and raised a return request with the seller for the refund of the order. The seller has confirmed that the refund has been completed on 23 January 2019. Hence, closing the complaint from our end.

I ordered my headphones from Flipkart but it automatically cancelled my order. It would have been good if i ordered them from Amazon. Flipkart is very bad site.
