I have ordered "godrej 260 l frost free double door 4 star 2019 refrigerator" from flipkart on 22nd march 2020 and it was delivered on 27th may 2020.
On delivery day only, i observed the dent on the front door and right side. So on the same day, i have requested flipkart support team for returning the product.
Flipkart portal accepted the return request with refund option and initiated the return workflow/schedule. As per their return schedule, the technician visit should happen on 31st may 2020. But it doesn't happened till now.
As we have refund option in flipkart portal, we called to the customer care on 30th may 2020 between 9.00 am to 9.40 am, and they also confirmed that its refund option only not a replacement. So after getting confirmation about refund from flipkart support team, we purchased a new refrigirator from bajaj electronics, rc puram, bhel, telangana - 502032.
On 9th june 2020, i got a call from flipkart support team about the return request and while having conversation with support guy, he cancelled my existing return request (With refund option) without my confirmation and he raised a new return request with replacement option. Now they are saying there is no refund option from seller side and i will get only replacement.
I asked below questions to them, but they are skipping to answer
1) why i got an option *refund* at the time of return request if the seller doesn't accept refund request
2) when i confirmed with customer care on 30th may 2020 between 9.00 am to 9.40 am, they also confirmed that its refund only and not a replacement. So we proceeded purchased a new product from authorized showroom.
3) why seller took 13 days to reject my return (With refund option)? If the seller aware of this refund option he can reject on same day or in within two days.
4) when i spoke with customer care team about rejection of my refund request, they are saying seller is not accepting refund option. They are not even bother about my concerns and saying its flipkart web-portal issue and they are disconnecting my call in middle of conversation (10th june 2020 10:52 am)
Currently i am not in a position to accept the replacement because i have already purchased a new refrigeration.
Please take necessary action
