[Resolved]  Flipkart — Smart tv

I have purchased (Order id-od[protected] an onida live genius 2 107.95 (43 inch) full hd led smart tv (43fis-w) from flipkart on 7th august 2020. After installing the tv, the tried to download & install a supported app from playstore, but could not do that. Every time it is showing 'download pending'. Frequently the tv launcher app was crashing. I complained that to flipkart. I tried to submit a return request but flipkart return policy doesn't permit me to return the item. Meanwhile, i contacted with onida support and came to know that they have discontinued the development of this tv software and they are not working now in this mode. The only supported apps in this tv are youtube and older version of netflix which completely against the seller website description of the product. I have submitted them a bunch of emails and chat transcript of onida along with the screen shots of errors showing in the tv. Flipkart scheduled a technician visit against my replacement request, but no one come to check the issue and the request 'cancelled' automatically. I again reopened the issue and this time it was replaced with another same model, same size tv set. As a software professional, i knew that this software problem can not be resolved by replacement so i was repeatedly requesting them to return/refund or exchange the item with another good version of set and i was also agreed to pay extra money for that, but they did not listen me.

The replaced tv set (Delivered on 01.09.2020) also behaved the same way as i suspected. It has the same issues as previous one. The person from flipkart who came to install it, he also noticed the issues and could not resolve the problem. This time flipkart provide me a 'return' option of this item and i made a return request on 3rd september, 2020. A technician visit was scheduled on 6th september, 2020. But before that time, i got a sms that the return request is cancelled. This time also no technician come to resolve the issue, but the return request is cancelled automatically.

Now flipkart reopen the issue with another technician reschedule date i. E. 9th september, 2020. Don't know when the matter will end. Please help me sir.

At last the technician from ONIDA came and he made it work by formatting the storage.

I have just got a sms from (QP-ADONIS) regarding cancellation of return request. Here is the message...

"Cancellation request has been raised for your call (2009E[protected]set alredy ok but customer not agree for aplicatio).If this request is false, to avoid cancellation please give us missed call on [protected]."

Without checking the television how can one(i.e. technician) tell that the set is OK? What is the meaning of " customer not agree for aplicatio"?
