I bought a Thomson R9 80 cm (32 inch) HD Ready LED TV (32TM3290) from Flipkart on 17th Jan, 2022. Seller: IWQNBecommerce
The product was delivered on 25th Jan, 2022. Along with the TV Flipkart automatically added an installation service from seller: Jeeves Consumer Services. The product warranty policy prohibits me from unboxing the product myself and installing it myself. If I do that, the product warranty will be void.
After waiting for several days and us trying to reach the installation technician dozens of times, he finally picked up the call and told us that he will not come to do the installation because it is not his area.
So we filed a product return on 31 Jan 2022, because we cannot install it ourselves without voiding the warranty nor is the installation service being provided.
I had lengthy calls with Flipkart teams and they keep promising me future dates but never do anything. They are simply passing time. They are neither giving me a refund nor providing the installation - forcing me to either violate the product warranty clause or seek legal help. Was this information helpful? |
