[Resolved]  Flipkart — undelivered due to shipment damaged

Hello team,

I just ordered an acer predators helios 300 laptop for ₹94, 999. I paid in full for this at the time of ordering and the order was confirmed. It was supposed to be delivered the next day.

The next day i track my order and it says "undelivered due to shipment damaged" at my nearest hub.

I have attached the photo of the laptop and the tracking details.

The seller is retailnet, and the shipment is facilitated through ekart logistics.

After contacting flipkart's support team, they suggested to cancel and reorder the item.

Now let me put three things clear.
1) why can't flipkart send a replacement from their end because the shipment is damaged?
2) why should i wait for 6-10 days to be refunded the amount?
3) why should i reorder the item, which id being sold at a higher cost (₹99, 999) now?

I want answers.

Order got cancelled due to in-transit damage, same informed to customer, also informed to place fresh order we will provide the difference amount as E-Gift voucher, but customer not interested to buy any more. Case closed from our end

Same happened with me I ordered acer i3 7130U laptop which is selling at a discounted price during sale and placed order from the same seller as yours i.e., retailnet and flip-kart assured me of two day delivery and shown that they shipped the product through E kart logistics on 15th march 2:33 AM and on 16th of march 2018 I checked tracking details and it showed that the shipment has reached a hub near me but couldn't delivered due to damage, "note this" I came to know this myself while tracking either flip-kart or their very own logistics partner didn't even inform it, so after seeing that I called their customer care and they said I have to cancel the order and have to place a fresh order for the same product but I said I got it for a discounted price during sale and now asking me to pay more for the same product, but They didn't respond properly and wasted both my time and money, as refund would take at least six days so my suggestion is flipkart should be avoided at any cost while making laptop or other electronic item purchases its better to go with amazon or paytm..flipkart are just scamming people by making us to order during the sale by luring us with low prices and then cancelling it stating shipment damage, one or two incidents of such is OK and bound to happen, but this is happening with many of the people who purchased from the same seller RetailNet and gets shipped by Ekart logistics this is nothing but a big scam! Beware and never buy laptops from flipkart again my order id is OD[protected]
I googled and got to know this has happened many times between Jan and March 2018 from same seller RETAIL NET and Ekart logistics partner, when making high value purchases every ecommerce logistics partner would make proper packaging so the chances of damaged would be minimal, but after so many complaints about the same specifically on laptop purchases they are not improving that and it clearly shows that something is fishy they are luring customers to make purchase on sale day then cancelling the order stating shipment damage so that when a person goes to place order again the price of the product would be much higher compared to the original order and flipkart is usign a foolish strategy by doing that way u r not gonna get repeated orders instead ur credibility will be at stake and no one would prefer purchases from u again, thank god i purchased my macbook pro 2015 version from amazon and they delivered it beautifully, no more flipkart for me!
