Updated by Bidipto Sarkar where was the exchange related guidelines written on your website? I read the whole of T&C for exchange and nowhere was it written that cracked screen leads to product rejection.
Here is an excerpt from your exchange policy, in case you people don't know:-
I understand that checks will be conducted by the delivery executive who will be delivering the new device and picking up the old device.
Following issues will lead to a reduction in exchange value:
1. On-Screen: Cracks, Screen coming out of the body, touch-screen issue or discolouration. The display should not have any spots or dead pixels.
2. On Body: Cracks, Body bent/bulge/de-shaped, parts missing. Battery should not be swollen.
Following issues will lead to rejection of exchange
1. The phone does not switch on.
2. Brand/model is different from what is mentioned provided by me in the Flipkart Website at the time of purchase of the new device.
3. Screen lock (all forms of screen lock viz; pattern, pin, password, fingerprint, face recognition, smart lock, etc. needs to be deactivated) or iCloud lock (Apple phones) is not removed.
4. IMEI, on dialling *#06#, does not match with the information provided by me in the Flipkart website at the time of purchase of the new device
