I am filing this complaint against Flipkart/Flipkart Minutes regarding incorrect serial numbers mentioned on invoices for two separate Apple AirPods purchases.
For my AirPods Pro 2, the serial number on the Flipkart invoice does not match the serial number on the actual product, box and device settings. I discovered this when I approached an Apple Service Centre for repair of the damaged charging-case lid under my active AppleCare+, but the invoice mismatch prevented the repair from proceeding.
After discovering this, I checked my AirPods Pro 3 purchased on 21 August 2026 through Flipkart Minutes and found the same issue—the invoice serial number again does not match the actual product.
I repeatedly provided Flipkart with photographs, serial-number proof and all requested information. Despite numerous calls and follow-ups, no satisfactory resolution was provided. Flipkart proposed a return/refund, but my concern regarding AppleCare+ charges remained unresolved. Subsequently, the return request was shown as “rejected post validation”, while the underlying complaint remained unresolved.
I have attached invoices, product/serial-number photographs, AppleCare+ proof, correspondence, call records and screenshots supporting my complaint.
Relief sought: Correct invoices or appropriate refund of the affected products, reimbursement of applicable AppleCare+ loss/charges, ₹1, 00, 000 compensation for harassment, mental agony, inconvenience and loss of time, and ₹25000 towards litigation/complaint expenses.
