Ford India — Music System - Ford Figo

I am a proud owner of Ford Figo since 2011. After my first Battery change, my music system didn't work and it was asking for some Code, which I missed during shifting. Once during a long drive, my kids kept on trying various codes and it got locked. I submitted that to Narayan Ford, Lucknow for opening the code. They said that we will have to send it to Chennai for opening the code. Now, they are telling me that they need to change the motherboard and it will cost around 10000. They have forwarded me the estimate (which is not from the Ford company) (attached).

Now, my question is locking code can be the security feature, and opening it may take some cost that I am ready to bear. But, how come the changing of its motherboard is required for it! And the cost o[censored]nlocking a security code is Rs. 10000.00!

Please look into the matter.
