[Resolved]  Freecharge Payment Technologies / Freecharge.in — transaction failed but refund not received

I made payment of electric bill of rs.1754 (Rs.1739 from debit card and rs. 15 from free charge wallet) through freecharge vibe order no. Fcea[protected] on 17.03.2018 but rs.1739 was debited from my obc bank account and transaction was showing failed. I sent many messages to freecharge but following reply was given
Dear natwar,

"thank you for writing in!

We understand that you are concerned about the amount deducted from your bank account.

We would like to inform you that as per our records, the attachment which you have shared is not valid.

In order to help you better and to locate the payment, we request you to please send a copy of your recent bank statement in pdf format starting from the date of the transaction to date. Kindly highlight the missing payment on your bank statement.

This will help us to track the payment with our payment partner.

Once we receive the details, will be able to help you further".

I sent bank statement in pdf format but above answer was again repeated

Thank you for your email.

We understand the concern regarding the refund for the failed transaction.

As per our records, the transaction (order ID FCEA[protected]) was unsuccessful. We also verified the same with our payment partner & confirmed that the funds were not received at their end.

Since the amount has been debited from the customer's bank account, we request to contact the bank with regards to this transaction and quote this number for reference (PG ID LHMP[protected] & PG Name: bdk)

Following complaint vide reference No.WS0010919/2018-19 has been made to OBC Bank on 12.04.2018 but reply for the same is awaited.
" I made a payment of electric bill of Rs. 1754 (Rs.1739 from OBC debit card and Rs. 15 from free charge wallet) through freecharge Wallet vibe order no. FCEA[protected] on 17.03.2018 but Rs.1739 was debited from my OBC bank account and transaction was showing failed. But I have not received my refund till now. I wrote to Freecharge for the same and received following reply-"Since the amount has been debited from the customer's bank account, we request to contact the bank with regards to this transaction and quote this number for reference (PG ID LHMP[protected] & PG Name: bdk)" Please send my refund."

Respected sir/Madam,
Following answer was received from OBC bank but refund was not received till now.
"The chargeback has been registered by branch. hence closing the complaint".
