I am writing this mail because of disappointment faced by me for my claim # CM467737, related to motor policy HFH60116. Please note that I have had no claims since the last 5 years and this one is after a long long time.
I had met with an accident last week which damaged the below mentioned parts:
- Front Bumper
- Right Side View Mirror
- Left Side View Mirror
- Right Fender
- Left Fender
- Rear Bumper
On 6th June, I went to the Hyundai workshop to get these repaired. I explained the entire accident and mentioned this on the report as well. I was shared with the surveyor’s number in the evening, and I tried to connect with him multiple times, but he did not pick up.
On 7th June morning, I was informed that the approval was obtained only for the right fender and partial (70%) for the bumper. This is very shocking considering that no one from Future Generali attempted to understand the case and partial approval given based on very limited understanding gained based on pictures. If pictures could say things, there would have been no need for the processes. I connected with the surveyor ‘Ajay Patel’ and he had no idea that the side view mirrors were damaged and needed repair. This is absolutely shocking, and I am unable to understand how the claims are submitted and what is the approval process (if any or is just based on random approvals).
