Gati Safe Home Packers & Movers Pvt Ltd — Fake transit insurance provided

I had taken the services of Gati Safe Home Packers & Movers Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon for transporting my Household goods from Ghaziabad to NTPC-Jharli, Jhajjar on 15th May'16. They have charged me Rs 6, 000/- for Transit insurance i.e @3% of declared insured value.When I ask them to provide insurance policy they provided me the same after much dillydalling that too long after dispatch & receiving of the goods. They generated a Fake Policy of Future GeneralI company. On asking them for refund of my money paid transit insurance, their Manager-Rathi simply refused and dare to do whatever possible. From the way of his conversation, he is no less than a goon

My advice to everyone to avoid this cheating 420 company operated by goons with intention to loot customers.

Subject: Demand Cum Legal Notice to deliver the goods within 15 days to our client.

Sir,
Under instructions from and on behalf of our client, Dr. Ranveer Ravi who is residing at R.M.S. Colony (South) near C.D Mission School, new by-Paas Road, Kankarbagh, Patna, Bihar- 800020, we hereby address you as under:
1. That our client is an educated, peaceful and law abiding citizen of India. He is a doctor by profession and is currently staying at R.M.S. Colony (South) near C.D Mission School, new by Paas Road, Kankarbagh, Patna, Bihar- 800020.
2. That you the addressee as per our client’s knowledge is a “Packers & Movers” as well as “courier service” provider that ships goods from one place to another.
3. That our client was previously working with AIIMS. He got shifted his Job form AIIMS, Delhi to Patna, Bihar. Therefore he wanted to shift all his household goods/belongings from Delhi to Patna. Therefore, our client approached you (at your Contact Number +91-[protected]) the addressee on 04.04.2016 to hire your services so as to deliver the goods of our client from Delhi to Patna and same was accepted by you the addressee by assuring our client that the goods will be delivered to him within two weeks.
4. That on 05.04.2016, Mrs. Anjali Suman made the entire payment on behalf of our client, to you the addressee through cash and got the goods packed on behalf of our client as our client had a ticket to Patna on 04.04.2016. You the addressee after accepting the entire payment gave a receipt of consignor copy to Mrs. Anjali Suman bearing consignment note no. 24 dated 05.04.2016.
5. That after three weeks our client contacted you the addressee to enquire regarding the delivery of his goods as you the addressee had assure our client to deliver the goods within two weeks from the date of receipt, to which you the addressee made various excuses and committed to our client to deliver the goods within 4-5 days.
6. That our client again contacted you the addressee, enquiring about his goods, which needed to be delivered within a week as per commitment made by you and you the addressee informed our client that his goods are on the way and are kept at Begusarai, Bihar and will be delivered to him shortly.
7. That to your given information our client requested you the addressee to give him the contact number of the authorised person under which his goods are kept but you the addressee did not pay any heed to our client’s concern instead delayed on one pretext and another. After our client strongly insisted you the addressee to give him the concerned authority’s contact detail you the addressee gave him a wrong contact number which said “Switched off”, whenever called.
8. That 4 months has been passed and our client has yet not received his goods whereas our client contacted you the addressee several times and enquired regarding the delivery of the goods but you the addressee did not give any satisfactory answers to our client and further stopped picking up the calls of our client.
9. That instead of taking heed over our client’s concern you the addressee showed careless attitude and, further you the addressee kept delaying the same on one pretext or the other.
10. That your above said act comes under the preview and meaning of “Theft” and “Criminal breach of trust” punishable under section 379 & 406 of IPC. Therefore, you the addressees are liable to be prosecuted under the said offence.
11. Besides the same, you the addressee are also liable to pay damages towards inconvenience suffered/faced by our client, due to your unlawful and negligent act.

Thus Our client is no longer interested to give you any further latitude in this regard and hence, we do hereby on behalf of our client call upon you the addressee to deliver the said goods within 15 days of receipt of the present legal notice, failing which our client shall be constraint to lodge an FIR under section 379/406/120B/34 IPC and shall also initiate civil suit to seek damages, entirely upon your risk and cost.
