Getmecab — Service not provided | |||||
I had booked a 7+1 seater Innova cab online with getmecab.com on 18/3/2016 for Rishikesh from 23/3/2016 5 AM to 25/3/2016 for which I paid Rs 1800/- as advance(order ID no.-ORDEL0307765). I got the confirmation for the cab as well. Till 23rd many a times I got in touch with them over phone & every time they assured me the confirmation & availability of the cab.On 22/3/2016 when till 10 pm I did not receive the driver & vehicle detailes through SMS, I tried to call them. After trying repeatedly for one hour I got in touch with them. When I asked them about the vehicle, they said they are trying to get.At around 11.30PM at night, they said they can not give me 7 seater vehicle only 6 seater is available, though I had told them categorily That I wanted only 7 seater vehicle because we were 8 members(including kids). At 11.30 PM they said that "we can not do anything, you arrange your vehicle yourself". I requested them many a times that at midnight from where I will arrange a vehicle for 5 AM ? but they said sorry we can not do anything & we will return your advance. At midnight I had to rush here & there to get a vehicle because I had all the hotel bookings done already in advance at Rishikesh for 3 days.But since it was Holy festival next day so all cab operators I got in touch with said that no 7 seater vehicle was available with them for next day.I somehow got a vehicle at almost double the usual rate. Despite the advance confirmed booking & advance payment I not only had to undergo such a stress & mental agony but also shell out so much extra money because of them.
