I have purchased gionee s.5 phone on 14th of

The purpose of purchasing this phone over market leaders
Like sony, apple & htc was it customer service reputation which i have heard
About.
On enquiring about phone quality dealer ensured that gionee
Is a very much upcoming brand & have extremely good customer service &
They will replace handset if found anything wrong within a month.
10 days after purchase phone has slipped from my working table
(just 2.5 feet) and its display got broken.
The same was reported to service centre – district center (west delhi).
Enclosed image of bill & service log (gc[protected]).
Service center has estimated 4 thousand rupees as display
Replacement charge as enclosed in document in attachment.
Today we have got any sms from service center asking a whooping amount of around 16 thousand rupees
As estimate to repair mobile phone.
This sounds so ridiculous
As this amount covers around 99% of
Overall phone amount if you remove service tax.
After calling service center 5
Times today no satisfactory answer was given.
You are requested to take this matter urgently and resolve.
If no proper action being taken in next 2 days, will file
Complaint in consumer forum.
