I brought A5 2016 from croma and got insurance there
After giving all the documents the gizmo insurance company rejected my claim telling that it was a fake claim. Who would brake his/her mobile to get this stupid claim. According to gizmo insurance company my mobile was purposely broke by me. I have searched every thing about gizmo insurance company information and found out that most of the claims was rejected. GIZMO INSURANCE COMPANY IS A FAKE COMPANY DONT GET INSURANCE FORM HERE YOU WILL BE TROLLED. CROMA IS ALSO A PART OF THIS SCAM. IF SOMEONE CAN HELP ME please mail me on [protected]@gmail.com

    Very sad to see a company like this operating in India and how can the government or the consumer law allow such business to even operate. I was an unfortunate customer who was trapped in their webnet of selling insurance for gadgets like laptop and phones which is actually not them but a third party called New India Insurance which was never informed to me at the time of purchasing. However a 4 months back I had an accident and apple phone was damaged so i thaught of claiming the same from this company. All needfull was done and I filed a claim. My claim was initially approved but then rejected the same day. When I asked why, I was told that I mentioned the time of accident as 9.00 pm approx on the call while filing the claim and on the claim form I mentioned 7.30 pm approx.Quite surprising to me that these people expect a human to record exact time when one meets an accident.However I called them again and explained and one of their Supervisors name Satinder Singh gave me assuarance that he will be sending the file for reconsideration. It has been 3 months since then I am calling them every week and they are giving me a run around for the same. Each and everytime they say that the decision is pending from NIA team which is ofcourse their insuarance partner.They have tortured me for past 3 months and even told me that NIA team has given a verbal approval for reconsideration and they will be confirming about the same soon but on written but today they ask me to contact the NIA team directly. My question is as customer when I purchased a product from Gizmohelp why should I contact some third party for my claim.
    My advise to all you people please donot buy insuarance from Gizmohelp because we as consumers get befooled by these companies and even after they have such a bad track record our government still allows such companies to operate.
    I have literally had 3 months of suffering and my phone is still with them and they are not even bothered to get it resolved.

      This phone wark very good firstly it went into wark and stoped then my to get replesd they asked for the dose he was carring along then itstared warking after 15 day it from the candition was unecpected so i want my phone to be replesd as as possible and this him pleasd don, t call him to came after wards this company insursnce camplany said thet take our policy & it your phone damages the emplayes will come to our plase and will take it himself to relplace but that is differnt me will be visiting your showroom for the 5th time
      I hope this time i would not request to buy for policy

      This phone works very good .Firstly it went into water and stoped then i told my brother to get it replaced they asked for the document which he wasnt carring along . then it started working and after 15 days it felt from the car and went rolling for 20-22 times and the condition was unexpected . so i want my phone to bereplaced as soon as possible and this time please tell him to afterwords. this company [insurance company] said take our policy and if your phone damages the employee will come to our place and will take himself to replace but the situation is different from my brothers situation will be visiting your sowroom for the 5th time . i hope this time i would not rejected to buy for policy.

        Purchased a mobile phone Samsung S7 from croma malad on 18/06/2016, bill no.SLF02A[protected] with that the sales person sold me a Gizmohelp insurance bill no.SLF02A[protected] saying that it is a good plan for one year in case of any accident the phone will be replaced with a new one. As the phone is used by my wife she was travelling in Gujarat Baruch on 13 th jan 2016, as she was walking and trying to get into the car the phone sliped from her hand and fell down on the footpath. I called Gizmohelp and reported them about they asked me for relevant documents which I sent them with all the details and photographs at first the said that it will b resolved, now I received a mail from them yesterday saying the claim has been rejected.

          As my iPhone 5S is insured under Fluid Damage through GizmoHelp company.

          My phone got influenced under fluid damage within a guarantee period and regarding my claim i complained on GizmoHelp on 16/Jan/2017. They registered a case against that and asked me to upload the relevant document on their website against My Complaint Number 91144447. I followed the procedure as per they recommend me.

          Firstly, they asked me to wait for 48 hours as they forwarded my case to some 3 party company (New India Assurance) for the verification.

          when i called him (GizmoHelp - [protected]) about the status of my claim then they told me that the claim was verified from their end.

          Finally after 5 days i received mail from GizmoHelp :

          "The claim ref. no. 9114447 has been rejected by the Insurer.
          Claim Non-payable due to exclusion “7.9 Loss caused by incorrect storage, poor care and maintenance, careless use, gross negligence, incorrect installation and incorrect set-up”.
          The cost of repair for this Device will not be paid by "GizmoHelp" or the Insurer."

          I want justice against such a fraud company.

          Please be informed that I met with an accident in the morning at East of Kailash Crossing. An auto and it hit me from my back. During that my mobile fell from my pocket and went in under the tire of the auto. It has got completely damaged and request to claim insurance for the same.

            Experience with Croma

            I was sold the gizmo insurance for my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge by a Croma executive, who convinced me to buy it because the S7 Edge did not have a tempered glass option available and in case my phone fell, it would be covered by gizmo insurance. With much reluctance I agreed. Last month, my phone fell out of my hands as I was talking on it. I immediately filed a complaint with gizmo.

            Experience with Gizmo

            An executive from Gizmo takes down my details. She does not speak English well, makes mistakes which I have to correct over and over. In all this, she tells me that my call is being recorded. I then give her all my details. She emails me a list of documents to upload after which she says that an executive will get in touch with me to check th damage of my phone. Since last month, I have had to upload and re-upload documents over and over again to Gizmo. I now realise this is a tactic to dissuade customers from filing a claim. Finally I submitted everything 2 days ago. A few minutes ago I receive a mail stating that my claim has been rejected on the basis of gross negligence, incorrect installation, incorrect set-up, poor care and maintenance, careless use. When I called Gizmo and spoke to the person in charge, I was told that if I had said someone pushed me and my phone fell, I would have been reimbursed. How can a decision be made based on an executive's summary of the damage of my phone and a couple of pictures. I plan to take this forward to the consumer forum. I hold Croma and Gizmo responsible for this and I want to file a complaint against them. If anyone else would like to do the same thing, I urge you to. We can't be treated like this.

              I had taken gizmohelp insurance of my samsung galaxy S7 edge. last month my phone damage in gurudwara bangla sahib because someone pushed me from back there was water where my phone fell.So, I give a call to customer to tell them that my phone fell from hand in gurudwara and there was water where my phone fell[where we wash our feet].They give me pick and drop service after 4-5 days they rejected my claim because they said it was broken and I tell to their customer care representative that my phone is liquid damage. Thatswhy your claim is rejected they give service report from samsung customer care and tere was mention it was liquid damage. After that I SUBMITED my phone to samsung service centre in okhala and they said me it was liquid damage and give me an estimate of approx 36k and gizohelp give me the esitmate of 15k. Then I call Gizmohelp customer care they said me your is rejected due to mysterious circumstances.

              My cell phone is still in warranty and its display has been damaged but samsung company is not claming nor gizmo help i have taken a insurance for my cell phone its costly around 32000 cell phone price..and insurance is for rs 2700 and 1 week still remaining for the warranty

                Let me tell you my experience with Gizmo. I have bought their insurance from Croma for my Samsung phone worth 35k after the recommendation from croma. I purchased the insurance in 3500 for an year like a fool.

                Around a month back my mobile fell down accidentally however there were no signs of physical damage on the screen the phone stopped working.
                The first thing I did as anybody would do is to visit croma and they asked me to go to the service center as there were no signs of damage service center kept my phone for 2 days and then told me that phone is broken inside and screen needs to be replaced which will cost arounf 8k so you better claim insurance, Then I called their help line and told them everything they asked me to wait for a day and call again next day to confirm the claim process.

                Next Day When I called again they straight forward told me that the claim could not be processed because the incident took place on 5:00PM and I have informed them on 50th Hours and as per their policy they should have been informed within 48hours. This is by far the Lamest response I have heard from any service provider.

                I fought and escalated the call many times and told them about the situation that I had informed croma on the very first day but they did not agree and rejected my claim.

                I am pretty sure even if I would had all the documents ready they would have simply rejected my claim for some or other reasons.
                Later on I came to know that they reject the claims for all possible reason like mobile was found with a case for which they do not take the responsibility, mobile fell down from hand was individual's fault, etc etc...

                The point which I want to make here is that we buy such expensive mobile and then insurance after that thinking that our investment is insured, but in reality these insurance companies are just a fraud which they have started to fool around with innocent people.

                Please Please be ware of these kind of scams and and specially companies like GIZMO they will simply loot your money and will be of no help but more headache for your.

                Better put some good quality screen protector and cover in that money.

                  Sir, this is to bring to your notice that, gizmo help gadget insurance company doesnt entertains any valid claims which they promise while taking the insurance money from their customers. Their kiosks is visible in almost every gadget selling retail store. I purchased my samsung 7 edge from croma store while charging it slipped and fell down which cracked the back screen glass and, thus immediately i informed gizmo help on their consumer help support number. As instructed by them, we got all the documents in place they conveyed this through an email that my claim was not approved as they see my claim as my negligence and, so following this when we showed our disappointment as our case very much genuine, the senior manager from gizmo help called me and told us you should have lied that it fell down due to other reasons and not from your hand. Imagine a senior guy telling us to report lies. Even after request, they are not willing to re-open my case and process it. Please dont trust gizmo help for mobile insurance or any other person. Their sr. Manager singh is also not cooperative enough, he makes lame excuse saying he doesnt know what to do now. Its not in his hand. And, their is no provision on re-opening the case.

                    Story as under...

                    Shared so many of mail called the customer care also but no use !!

                    Mail sent to Gizmo team on 31/8/2016 with all the docs attach.

                    Dear Team,

                    Its been more than 2 months now that i am struggling to get a clear picture on the Claim status. After all the struggle and so many calls to customer care, on 17th July i spoke to Abhishek and received the e-mail from Akshit (mail appended below).
                    As per the requirement i have send all the documents through courier (courier receipt and the scan docs attached), for which the team is saying that they have not received, but the DTDC receipt shows a receiving and stamping of 25th July'2106, hence there is no status and nothing to answer from Gizmo end.
                    Today i again called at 10:10 a.m and spoke to Sheetal with the reply of waiting till 4 today for the update.
                    As a customer it is very annoying after sending and completing all the documents still i have to do so many follows regarding the same.

                      Screen of I phone 6 got broken and the same was informed to Gizmo also have submitted all the documents related to mobile claim, I have been given 48 hours time. I am chasing them for them after that and it's almost 48 hours additional and I am being told to wait for one more day every time I call them.
                      It seems that they are just buying time and after reading the reviews it is clear that it is a fraud company.
                      When asked to connect to someone senior they either say he/she is busy they will arrange a call back but nothing has heppened till now.

                        Fraud company...fake complaints made when selling the product and no claim benefit of buying insurance... Charging for cellphone insurance fully covered and not giving claim. My cellphone fell from pocket and they r saying bloody negligence. Bloody hell with your company. I will definately do negative marketing for this product that will ruin their business atleast 10 percent.
                        Fake promise made that your cell is fully covered theft, accident, broken etc. My cell is not even water logged only display broke when it fell down. They r saying negligence after 2 weaks. They should tell this thing at very first interaction when i filed a complaint. I think broken screen comes under accident only that it accidentally fell from the pocket when cell rings.

                          My name is Jayesh Anchan, I bought mobile phone insurance with GizmoHelp in the month of December last year. My Insurance ID with GizmoHelp is 262795, Insurance Claim no. 9110350. I claimed insurance as the phone slipped out of my hand while on call. I slipped while walking and even scraped my right knee. The phone slipped and got damaged badly. GizmoHelp say this is customer negligence and cannot be claimed under accidental damage.

                              Jambo electronics (Noida GIP) is recommending people to buy gizmo help insurance when people buy phone from Noida Jambo store.They make fake promises to you when you buy this product. But when u claim they say they don't cover it, they ask you to provide different docs for 3 to 4 months and then refuse you stating that we can't do anything and even don't refund your money. When you make complaint in Jambo too they don't address. JAMBO IS ALSO PART OF THIS FRAUD. I WONT RECOMMEND JAMBO TO ANYONE.

                                Gizmo / new india asurance..both are fraud company..humbul request please dont bye this product.i had a liquid damage and they rejected my claim saying that i should take care properly.they took my mobile almost 20 days back.every day they will give some stupid feedbacks saying that its delay from service center side. Delay from insurer.delay from pickup people.finaly its rejected .any idea how to put a consumer case.

                                  I took gizmo mobile insurance from croma on purchasing high end smartphone. No claim was made in first year. On renewal marketing team kept calling for online renewal as they were providing more benefits. After i renewed on 13 july 2016, i did not recieve any invoice or copy of list of benefits that they commited. Then i cancelled the insurance renewal on 14th. I did not recieve my money transfered for renewal and they are lying that the payment is initiated and will reflect by 22nd july then told 25 july. Til today it has not been refuded.

                                  I have cash less insurance of my cell phone, but gizmo has partially approved my claim and reason of not approving full claim wasn't told me at the time of taking insurance from gizmo. In future I will not neither take insurance from gizmo nor recommend to anyone.I am vary much disappointed.

                                    I bought my mobile iphone 6 from croma store in ghatkopar (Mumbai) november 2015. I also bought the gizmo help insurance along with it. I lost my iphone 6 while boarding the local train at vikhroli station on 4th july 2016. I registered my fir on 5th july and made all the necessary documents to be submitted for insurance processing. Gizmo help then asked me to get the fir translated into hindi language and get it notarized. I got the translated copy made from a local guy who sits next to the court house and notarized it. Gizmo help guys dismissed my claim saying this document has words mentioned saying "ghum gaya" which means lost in english and they cannot process the claim. I tried to speak to them for last 2 days and explain that this is no government document and i can get the new document made mentioning "theft" in it but they do not want to entertain the claim and say they cannot do anything.                                       Dear sir/madam,

                                      My insurance id is 1004774
                                      My claim no-9109315

                                      I had damaged my phone while going to nearby mandir, it slipped out of my pajama pocket while i am riding a bike.

                                      I uploaded my claim with customer care on customer support center.
                                      I also requested them to add email id to [protected]@gmail.com and alternate mobile no [protected].

                                      But my claim is rejected due to negligence.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        My mobile was stolen from a shop counter. I have informed Gizmohelp immediately about this and they assured me that I can claim my insurance.

                                        After that I spent around 1500 to get all the documents ready which they verified from their end and asked me to courier all the documents. They rejected my claim. I think all the customers have the same issue they don't approve and still they are making money saying wrong commitment to new customers. Please help me to get my claim approved.
