I purchased samsung galaxy s6 edge from croma store (Indirapuram, gzb) in december and insured it on the same day from gizmohelp. Now, when i have filed a claim with gizmohelp as my phone had been damaged incidentally, the company is not considering my claim and denying the claim on the basis of my first call intimation which is a single sided judgment because while i was informing to the person on call she was not been able to understand me whatever i was narrating her so i gave the phone call to my brother to inform her and then after neither she confirmed me nor anyone from the company called me to inform what they have noted about my phone damage.
Also after getting the decision from the company i have called several times to tell them about the call intimation that it had been noted down in wrong way because the person was not able to understand me whatever i was telling her at that time also i told them to follow my written statement along with the claim form which i had personally written and submitted on the same day.
To inform the company more about the wrong ways the company is troubling me by providing me totally unfriendly services. To say a few like - from website interference to its call support all the channels are totally uncomfortable to deal with. Also i’m saying all these issues because i have faced problems from the day first of reporting my claim to the company, while trying to upload my supporting documents i was unable to do so because the website not providing me uploading support due to website low quality interactive support to customer or website jam then i mailed my documents to helpteam and they uploaded it. Then after the company's backend team who all help customers through phone when one calls them they never give appropriate information and always i have noticed they have informed me wrong. I have few proofs as a screenshots.
Also i don't know why the company had never been able to share any information or knowingly it had always tried to refrain me from the details whenever i had asked it. They did not even mail me the final report of my case nor do its employees share to me my policy number which consists of 20 digits.
So i request the company to finally provide me proper support or else i am going to file a case against the company with support from consumer forum as the company is breeching business norms and its third quality business practices with customer are against my rights. These practices and services are totally harassing and inappropriate for me to bear. It is not my fault nor my negligence, its the company and its employees who all are trying to trouble me by proving me third grade services and now you all are saying it’s my fault that i did not informed the company in a right way. I know the company is doing all these so that i can leave my claim in frustration and suffering of all these unguided peoples and long procedures.

    Total frauds and big time cheats. All genuine docs given by me still fake reason of rejection that i changed my story. Big cheats. Surveyor okayed for repair of iphone 6. Company delayed for more than two months.. They wasted my time and energy and all i got was a regret mail. They wasted my time and energy... I am a genuine writer. They played with me and my money...

      Recently I purchased an iPhone and got the insurance through Gizmo. The guy at the insurance desk told me that the insurance covers 100% physical damage and damage due to water twice a year. Precisely a week later, my phone fell and the glass cracked. The insurance was rejected saying that this was not accidental. I was appalled. What does accidental mean, no idea, their T&C do not say anything what accidental means. It cost me a fortune to fix my iPhone. Why the hell did I take the insurance again?
      Who in sane mind will like to throw their phone down. Whether its iPhone or HTC or anything. It would always be accidental.
      I am mentally and emotionally down that I accepted to insure my phone through a company which does not care for customer. Actually I guess they do this to make money and reject our claims. Pathetic.

        I have a insurance of my samsung phone and on 8th of january my phone fell down and the phone got damaged after figuring out that my insurance was from gizmo, i called them on the 9th, understood the procedure downloaded the form and trust me the document upload system is so tedious at gizmo and half the time the site is down. It took me two days to upload the documents as their site was down, they made me go through the entire process several times stating this documents is missing, pictures are not clear and they made me change the date on the claim process form from the 9th to the 11th as i had uploaded most of the documents on the 11th due to their site issues ..
        I have been following religiously with them and for every query they take 2 to 3 days to revert verify the documents and then the further procedure, they made me re upload the form with change in date then i was made to courier my documents twice once on the phone i was told that the insurance company associated with them has rejected my claim but no email supporting that and reason being i did not register my claim in 24 hours and then they said they will again check with the insurance team and it is two months now that i am following with them in vain ..

        • firstly not one person had mentioned that the claim was to be registered in 24 hours
        • secondly i had called them and let them know about the damage
        • thirdly they need 15 to 20 documents which takes time to get and upload
        • finally their site is always down
        I have uploaded an application form with 9th and then again uploaded and application form with the date 11th..
        How can they reject my claim????
        I need this to be sorted as i am not going to leave my claim, i will complain at all the avenues for consumer complaints and also go to the consume court if the need desires
        I am surprised to see that there are seven complaints against gizmo listed here but the have not bothered to solve….

        Dear All,
        This is to inform you that there is a mobile insurance company by the name of GIZMO SECURE ULTIMATE, who have a tie up with Croma Electronics. When you buy any mobile they pitch you to get your mobile insured and make all the promises. But when it comes to actually a claim they give you the simplest reason not to pay any claim.
        I, Pooja Rajpal, bought an Iphone 6 from Croma, Lower Parel, Mumbai and the insurance as suggested by GIZMO SECURE ULTIMATE on 31.05.2015 Insurance Id No 230088, Serial No [protected], Invoice No SLF02A[protected].
        Now on 31st March 2016, my husband and me were going on the bike at around 1.00pm (honestly I really don’t remember the time but it was post lunch)and there were these 2 men who came on the other bike to my left side and pulled the phone from my hand, it so happened that the phone fell on the road in water so I was firstly in trauma that what had happened until I realised that my phone had switched off and not switching on at all, so then rushed to the nearest apple iphone service centre. They told me to leave the phone as it was not getting switched on at all, they mailed me on the 1st April 2016 that the phone was detected by Liquid so now there was no warranty and I would have to replace the phone and also had to pay approx. Rs 25000/-, to my badluck since my phone was not working I could not check my mails either so they happened to call me on the 2nd April 2016 to inform that I haven’t reverted to the mail, now I was in a total shock as I had not even recovered from the unusual incident of phone snatching that had happened for the first time in my life, didn’t know this was coming up next as I already bought the phone of approx. 50, 000/- not even a year back and now was asked to pay another 25, 000/-, then I recollected that I had insured the phone to I spoke to Mr Mohsin (who sold the policy) from GIZMO SECURE ULTIMATE, who guided me to report the incident immediately to the call centre of GIZMO SECURE ULTIMATE, so I called them and registered my claim over the phone, went to the cyber café with all the various documents, spent money on scanning and stuff, uploaded the same on their sites (which was not working and had a huge trouble doing that as had to call the call centre number of times just to upload the documents)anyways.
        Where they told me as the company policy they would get back to me within 24 hours, so I waiting but now already 28 hours had passed so I again called them to find out as to what was going on, so they apologised for being 4 hours late and I immediately was ok with that, they again told me that now they need a letter from me since I was 3 hours late to report my claim as according to them I had to report my claim within 48 hours and I was LATE BY 3 HOURS, so they wanted to know the reason, so now again I wrote this detailed letter with my signature, went to the cyber café and scanned it and mailed them as now their website was not working at all( so had to go through the same trouble). Now I thought I had done my best and had to wait for 15-21 working days as per their policy (where in my business was suffering completely).

        Finally I get a mail from them that my claim is REJECTED as I was 3 hours late as per their policy in reporting the incident (but I was not informed anything while taking the policy). Now things like should I have lied and make sure that the claim comes between 48 hours or should I have manipulated somewhere as they do not respect honest customers such thoughts kept running my mind.
        Anyways I was guided by Mr Mohsin from GIZMO SECURE ULTIMATE to contact Mr Ronak (mob no [protected]) from GIZMO SECURE ULTIMATE his senior who could help me, so I again had some hope now, I called him and followed up for days, then he told me to contact his senior who was Mr Ganesh (mob no [protected]) from GIZMO SECURE ULTIMATE, who kept saying that they have a tie up with THE NEW INDIA INSURANCE and they could only request them to reconsider the claim. Today its 02nd May 2016 already and they say that they cannot process the claim as I was 3 hours late to register the same with GIZMO SECURE ULTIMATE.
        My business has suffered drastically as I did not have my phone, I could not revert to all the important mails, lost all my client contacts and finally this is what I get.
        I just want to urge to general public not to buy GIZMO SECURE ULTIMATE AS THEY ARE JUST LOOTING PEOPLE IN THE NAME OF MOBILE INSURANCE.
        Whatever that I have suffered emotionally, physically I do not want anybody to do so.

        Worst Experience. They will only take money and at the time of Claim they will make fake excuses for not paying money. I brought phone and insurance in march 2016 from Jumbo Electronics, V3S Mall, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. I lost my mobile when I had an accident on 9th Jan.'2017. On the same day, I informed at store from where I brought phone and insurance. One representative present at store took my details and copy of invoice and told me that insurance person will give you call but even after 1 week I didn't received any call. When I visited store again, insurance person was not available. Store person provided me number of lady whom I met in last visit. but she said I already left job so please contact customer care. When I contacted customer care, Mr. Gaurav Khanna said we can't process your claim as information was provided late.

        As I already informed at store within few hours of loss, but information was not passed further and representative didn't informed me of process so that is the biggest loophole of Gizmo Secure so why should customer suffer because of their mistake.
        Gizmo is just cheating !!! First time i made a claim, they rejected it because the claim was not registered within 48 hours (which was not told to us while buying the same) . Second time, when i made the claim, they want the repair bill of the first rejected claims although the claim is of different nature. It is beyond the imagination of anyone to save such bill. It seems that it is their policy to collect such bills in original without which they will not register the subsequent claim. The executive who spoke over phone concluded the call that there was no response from my side and cut the call, when i asked him to transfer to call to their higher ups

          I had purchase samsung mobile edge 6 plus from corma electronic r-mall, thane west, maharashtra, on 23/10/2015, on same day along with handset had purchase gizmo secure ultimate (Insurance) of rs. 2499/-. On the time of purchasing insurance the gizmo employee has given lots of assurances regarding the company and product.

          On 14/02/2016 and 15/02/2016 i was travelling with my friends to shirdi on 15/02/2016 while returning, we had taken a halt at trimbakeshwar lord shiva temple at nasik. When going inside the temple we have to submit our phone, camera, and bags to temple locker room which is nearby the temple maingate while keeping all phone together in pooch my handset fall down by the person and on back side of handset the crack has came on the glass.
          On 17/02/2016 i had intimation to the gizmo company for the damage of my headset and for insurance claim. The gizmo company person who is sitting at croma electronic showroom in r-mall thane, had ask me to complete some formalities and necessary paperwork. On 18/02/2016 i had submitted all the necessary paper which the company has demeaned from me and i had completed all the paperwork as per demand.

          On regular follow up with the gizmo company and with corma electronic for a month's but no feedback or any reply from both. Yesterday on 20/03/2016 i had given a call on their customer care center on [protected] to check what happen for my claim but the answer was unsatisfactory as per them my claim has been reject the reason given was the handset has damage by third person that why my claim has been rejected.

          Fake insurance team ...after allotting service center for my phone from the insurance team it got rejected ...the service center people called me and said my handset is repaired but insurance team is not approving ..iam not getting the point that after allotting service center for a phone how come it got rejected ...only when its a scam total scam

            Sir,
            I am raghvendra singh thakur, i was buy iphone 6 plus 64 gb from croma infiniti retail shop which is in unit no. F25, st floor, oberoi mall, goregaon, mumbai-400063 on 8 september 2015 and my phone is under insurance of gizmo insurance company. My iphone was broken in accident the display of iphone and the front portion of phone is damaged, i was admitted in icu for two days and i have all hospital original documents and when i discharged from hospital then i suddenly contact gizmo insurance to register complain they told me to upload and courier all your documents and hospital reports and when i contact customer care they told me you will got your claim for mobile but you need to attach a letter giving reason for not able to claim under 48 hours then i attach a letter and then i upload it all the original documents to their website and also courier all the original documents to their head office, then after 20-25 days on 21 march 2016 they reply me that "claim not payable due to claim intimated beyond 48 hours of the incidence" and closed my case. So please help me and i am also took the complain to high court against gizmo insurance company.

              My self Rajinder Singh and my mobile no is [protected].
              Gizmo help approved my Insurance claimed on dated 15.02.2016 and per Company norms they will be transfer the claimed approved amount in my given bank Account within seven working days, but they not did the same.
              when I not received the amount within given specified day. I made a phone call to Gizmo Help on dated 25.02.02 and Gizmo executive ensure my the amount will be transfer by Tuesday i.e 01.03.2016 possibly. but again the same was not did by Gizmo, and again I made a Phone call to GIZMO Help and this time they again extend the dated and ensure me, the amount will be transfer by 07th of march 2016 without any failure but again they not did the same.
              Now today i.e 08.03.2016, once again i made a phone call to Gizmo Help and same word is repeated by GIZMO executive she say please allow us more time for transferring the amount.
              in between I also Chat with GIZMO Help Supports and same word was repeated by Mr./ Ms Navjot Kour & Harpreet, they need more time for transferring the amount. I don, t Know how the hell, they people are doing.
              and when that time is come the GIZMO help will transfer the Approved Claimed amount.

              Please help me let out of this

              Gizmo Help is a fraud company . They are not complete their own norms & promise but they were committed to their customer.
              Till yet, they are not transferring the amount in my Account. And when I made call to them for knowing the status of claim, the same reply is given by GIZMO executive still there is some technical issue and we will try to transfer your amount on some, some... day..
              Now I want to take strict action against Gizmo help. Please assist me...

                  I have a insurance of my samsung phone (id . 248362) last wednesday (10/2/16) my phones was broken .i had submitted the all docs which my insurance provider needed .they commited to me they will verified and give approval in next 24 hours after that i did"T get any reply from their side . I mailed them and asked for the same then they replied and asked for the another document which i provided them in nex t 24 hours again they commited they will take another 24 hours to verify the docs .i called them so many times they are giving me negative response i sent a mail regularly but i did"t get any response except dates and time..

                  i need a solution .

                        For context, my iphone was stolen on 9th of April while travelling in a bus. I have been trying to get my claim from the insurer since 5 months now and nothing is working out. They are misguiding me and not delivering on their TATs. I need to escalate this to the authority who can help me here. I have the FIR and every single document required to process the claim but still the company is refusing to process the claim. I am looping in Croma store and APPLE for selling an item and partnering with criminals. I have been emailing this company and nobody is reverting. Please advice if further information is required.

                        dear croma .. why the hell u guys have a tieup with such frawd gizmohelp company ...i brought iphone6 from croma mulund, mumbai ...after 5 months when my iphone broke i submitted each and every documents to gizmohelp website as well as i submited hardcopy of every document to service centre... 50 days passed and still gizmo is fooling ... henceforth ill not buy any product from croma because it has a tieup with only gizmohelp insurance ... ill suggest myfriends to buy any costly product from kohinoor or any other store whoever provides appsdaily or any trusted insurance ... croma inspite of such bad reviews u guys trust still trust gizmo... well this is going to affect your profit ...such priceless trust is gonna affect u ... i m out as a customer ... naam bade or darshan chhote !!!

                          I have taken a insurance for my mobile costing 20000rs and have given the premium for 1500rs . On 18 June my mobile was stolen when I was traveling in local train. I told the same the same to the company customer care and did as they directed. Firstly they took whole two months to process the insurance and lately they said my claim has been rejected just because they say the title of the fir is LOSS OF MOBILE and they say loss is not covered under their schemes and they will not pay me the insurance.. Is theft or stealing is not a loss. they want to make fool of the customers I have every time said that my mobile was stolen.they have recordings please check them I have mentioned in their forms with the stamp of the police station in charge.

                            Sir, This is to bring to your notice that, Gizmo Help Gadget Insurance company doesnt entertains any valid claims which they promise while taking the insurance money from their customers. Their kiosks is visible in almost every Gadget Selling Retail Store. I purchased my Iphone 6 from Croma Store and after a month it got stolen while I was travelling in Local Train between Ville Parle to Bhandup. And, thus immediately I informed Gizmo Help on their Consumer Help Support number. As instructed by them, we got all the documents in place along with the FIR from police, but they rejected our after 21 working days stating that the word THEFT is not mentioned in the FIR. They conveyed this through an email. And, so following this when we showed our disappointment as our case very much genuine, the Senior Manager Mankarant Singh from Gizmo Help told me that if I get a fresh FIR which states that its a case of Theft, then they will re-open the case and also process my claim. I got the fresh FIR on a form as guided by police which I got from net, and it states STOLEN. Still, they are not willing to re-open my case and process it. Sir, as per the New India Insurance Company policy I should be getting atleast Rs. 54, 000. Sir, we already know that getting a fresh FIR is not a easy work, still to my surprise it was police who guided me with the correct form rather than this third Party, Gizmo Help company. Still, they have refused from working on our request. Please dont trust Gizmo Help for Mobile Insurance or any other person. Their Sr. Manager Manwinder Singh is also not cooperative enough, he makes lame excuse saying he doesnt know what to do now. Its not in his hand. And, their is no provision on re-opening the case.

                            GizmoHelp Insurance is useless and mere waste of money. Don't buy this insurance in future,

                            Gizmo Help Insurance is Fraud and it was the biggest blunder that. i have taken insurance from Gizmo as it is highly recommend by the Croma Retail. Don't buy this insurance in future and trust on croma about gizmo.

                            I have been trying to know the reason and dispute your wrong decision of denying me this claim. I once again request Gizmo to look in to the matter and release my money as it was a very very genuine case of mobile theft.

                            I have been calling your helpline and its getting very very frustrating. You guys have no idea about my situation. I am not going to let it go. I am now feeling forced to take it up to consumer court and also to vigilance to fight for my right. I am not an unaware or uneducated or laid back customer.

                            I know the fact the New India Assurance company has not denied it. Its from Gizmo who lured me several times in to buying your insurance at the time of purchase. There has not been the faintest of efforts from your side to track my mobile phone. I will just not let it go .

                            Once again, i very humbly request you to please work on it honestly.

                            The same problem is with me. Gizmo refused my damage claim just by saying that you had complained after 48 hours so we cannot approve your claim. They said this after 1 month and i have to go through hardship to fulfill their requirement to file a claim form because they use to make excuses on those things that are useless. Do not trust Gizmo in any case please.
                            Same is the case with me. I got my phone 6 repaired and they are refusing on stupid pretext that the phone was mishandled. Why will someone in their senses damage their own phone? Total fraud being done by them. I AM APPROACHING THE OMBUDSMAN FOR A SOLUTION.

                            But i got my claim approved money very easily without doing anything..
                            When my iphone 6 got damaged, i just went to croma from where i had pirchased that both things ( iphone & gizmo). I met with kuldeep there gizmo staff very politely he handled my case and he said that, ''don't worry sir, i will take care of it ''. And after getting approval on my case, i got replacement of my handset at a cost of 25000 rs and after one month i got 23790 rs jn my account..
                            I got very good service...
                            My experience with GizmoHelp has been a good one . I had gotten insurance for my Samsung galaxy note 2 . When it got stolen last month, GizmoHelp was very helpful with getting my claim processed. Their support center people were very co-operating with me. Overall I am happy with their services .
                            I had taken Laptop insurance from Gizmo guys. They claim to have covered various sorts of damages so i was happy. Back in Feb my laptop got damaged and i approached Gizmo helpline, they walked me through claim process, it seemed very easy. I was able to get my laptop repaired and got the claim money for it too. So i can say this company has been good to me, hope it remains same in future.
                            Gizmohelp is a fraud, they have been making me run after tem for past 3 months for my insurance claim.But they are not in any mood to give me my claim. Croma is also part of this fraud.these gizmohelp guys are givingg me next date every time for past 3 months and asked me not to get my 16000 rs phone repaired. they are biggest scam.never buy thier insurance.i am going to consumer court.
                            similar problem is being faced by me, either they dont register the complaint or keep on giving some excuse. Croma is hand in gloves with these people.

                            I bought a samsung handset in the month of Feb '16 from Croma - Thane Ghodhbunder Road brach. The executive convinced me to take up the Gizmo Insurance. Last month I accidently ended up loosing the display of my mobile. I approached Gizmo help to claim for the damage. The executive asked me to go through the various documentation process which I did. But sorry to say that I never received any claim amount. Upon enquiry i was told that I have damaged 7.9 % of the device and so I am not eligible for the claim. Guys I would urge you to ask the company to provide the clauses before taking up this company insurance. This company is a fake. very bad experience.

                            I agree to the comments made above Gizmo help is of no help at-all is a Fraud company. I bought my I-phone 6, 5 months back which got stolen in local train and when i approached Gizmo help they refused with lame excuses. The senior Manager Suraj Kumar agreed to my case that it was correct and had all the police FIR and claims from service provider but they could not process my insurance for their own reasons. Do not buy any produce from this company.

                            Claim ID 9109825 - My iPhone 6S Plus has been with Gizmo's repair center for almost a month now for a damage and I just got an email stating the phone was mishandled. Why would anyone in their right mind want to damage their phone willingly, to claim their stupid insurance? This is utterly ridiculous and waste of time and resources. It looks like a big scam to siphon off money from desperate people.

                            I've had multiple interactions, requests for escalations that were never honored, numerous mails exchanged, several people promised call backs in 4 hours which were never honored - all this just for status updates!

                            Someone has to do something to shut this business down so no one else could be scammed into hopes.
                            My Claim ID is 9110350. The phone slipped out of my hand when I slipped and fell down. The phone was damaged. GizmoHelp deem this as Customer Negligence. They've rejected the claim. This company is a cheat and I wouldn't recommend anyone to waste their money cuz they will not be able to claim. They use a different dictionary than what the rest of the world does.
                            Hi i have same prob i have purchase iphone 6 s plus from chroma outlet, i purchased gizmohelp insurance.
                            my phone got damage in an accident. i intimated in 24 hrs on dated[protected] my claim ref no is 9110981.
                            incident was that due to slip of water bottle when i was going to drink water, it occurred due to disbalance of chair and me. i have already kept my phone in my pocket safely. but ultimately my iphone got water damage. but yesterday i got mail from gizmohelp that your claim is rejected due negligence. i got shocked. in this case company has cheated me.

                            I have filed claim in July and they have made me run from pillar to post for the insurance... I want to lodge a legal case against them for the harassment they have done.. Can anyone help me with the details...

                            I am appalled by the Gizmo Help customer service. They call themselves help but are the biggest fraud. My iPhone 6 screen broke due to an accidental slip and now they are calling it a case of GROSS NEGLIGENCE!!! Also, the so-called supervisor Mr. Rakesh Arora has no manners to speak to customers. We need to do something and stop them from cheating on genuine cases!!! My claim reference id is 9115779 and someone from Kochar Group needs to do something about all this. Is it a money-making fraud company?????? I have written a mail to Kochar Group, their owner, New India Assurance but I have no hopes from anyone. Someone please guide what to do!!!
