This is to bring to your notice that, Gizmo Help Gadget Insurance company doesnt entertains any valid claims which they promise while taking the insurance money from their customers. Their kiosks is visible in almost every Gadget Selling Retail Store. I purchased my Iphone 6 from Croma Store and after a month it got stolen while I was travelling in Local Train between Ville Parle to Bhandup. And, thus immediately I informed Gizmo Help on their Consumer Help Support number. As instructed by them, we got all the documents in place along with the FIR from police, but they rejected our after 21 working days stating that the word THEFT is not mentioned in the FIR. They conveyed this through an email.
And, so following this when we showed our disappointment as our case very much genuine, the Senior Manager Mankarant Singh from Gizmo Help told me that if I get a fresh FIR which states that its a case of Theft, then they will re-open the case and also process my claim. I got the fresh FIR on a form as guided by police which I got from net, and it states STOLEN. Still, they are not willing to re-open my case and process it.
Sir, as per the New India Insurance Company policy I should be getting atleast Rs. 54, 000.
Sir, we already know that getting a fresh FIR is not a easy work, still to my surprise it was police who guided me with the correct form rather than this third Party, Gizmo Help company.
Still, they have refused from working on our request.
Please dont trust Gizmo Help for Mobile Insurance or any other person. Their Sr. Manager Manwinder Singh is also not cooperative enough, he makes lame excuse saying he doesnt know what to do now. Its not in his hand. And, their is no provision on re-opening the case.
