Godrej Appliances — Due to technician mistake my refrigerator damage

Hi,

The problem what you are telling in the above mail was not told by your technical support in his first visit.
In his first visit, he thoroughly checked everything and told us that the puncher in the freezer has caused the gas leakage.
So for proper working of refrigerator, he need to replace the freezer and has to refill the gas. For both these works, he told the final price to be 3800/- which was accepted by us.

The same day evening he visited the location again and started working on the refrigerator.
Only in the starting of his work, he made a hole in the backside of our refrigerator and cut all the pipes of gas which was connected to the compressor.
After sometime he disconnected everything and told us to pay 2000/- more for the replacement of one more part(PCB).

For that we told that why to give additional payment as he didn't told anything about that in his previous visit of thorough checking. And if anything has to replace then it has to be replaced free of cost as the refrigerator is in the warranty period.

On this, he told us that he has to ask in the agency about free replacement.
He called to agency person then when we talked to the agency person, he told to that yes it (PCB) will be replaced free of cost.

After that the person who came for service talked to the agency person in the local language (KANNADA) which we don't know.
After that the sevice person told us that not only the PCB has to be replaced but also COMPRESSOR has to be replaced and that also on the payment basis.
We shocked by listening this statement and told him that just 10 minutes back he was telling that the final cost of service was 3800/-, 5 minutes back the cost was 3800+2000/- but why you are charging 3800+2000+6000(cost of compressor).

He told us that your PCB is also not working now and compressor has to be replaced compulsory when the damage is due to physical damage.

On this we told him that at the first visit when he has thoroughly checked the problem then why didn't you told us about this. Not even before making a hole at the back side of refrigerator you have told this condition to us.

But he was stick to his last word only that now the only solution for this refrigerator is to replace all the 3 parts and that also on payment basis.

After so much talking to the service person, agency person and many calls to customer care, we didn't get any fruitful assurance about our query that now why he is asking extra amount when our refrigerator is in warranty.

In all this incident, when we have talked to local agency person, he told us that if we pay the amount that is fine otherwise in future whenever we raise a complaint regarding the refrigerator, he will close it ASAP without any delay.

in between technician also went without repair my refrigerator i will attach picture also

CONCLUSION:
Present condition of our refrigerator is that it got a tiny puncher in freezer by us and GOT A BIG HOLE AT THE BACKSIDE AND ALL THE PIPES GOT DISCONNECTED BY THE GODREJ SERVICE PERSON.
WE ARE AT A LOSS OF 3800/- BEFORE THE VISIT OF YOUR SERVICE PERSON BUT NOW WE HAD A LOSS OF COMPLETE REFRIGERATOR AFTER THE VISIT OF GODREJ SERVICE PERSON.

PLEASE GIVE US A SOLUTION ASAP AS WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY ALTERNATIVE OF OUR REFRIGERATOR AS OF NOW.
