Gruha Kalyan — Not refunding booking amount | |||||
I, saleha m., booked two flats with gruha kalyan, blue bell, and paid a total sum of 2.6 lakhs. due to delay in starting construction and negative reviews and staffs unprofessional behavior i cancelled the booking on 3rd may. As per protocols i am to have received my cheque on 15th may, and the 2.6 lakhs should be in my account by 15th july. No progress has been made on behalf of gruha kalyan. we are provided excuses after excuses. Week one excuse: md is out of station. Week two excuse: md is conducting interviews at a hotel. (!) Week three excuse: we were busy in auditing. On the three occasions that i visited the office which is at #32 a, hsr layout, sector 6, i met other customers facing similar issues. one had come to cancel their booking for the same reason but was made to wait in a glass room for two hours. two had come to collect dds because the cheque given to them had bounced. keeping this in mind i have filed an fir at hsr police station. I advise customers who are being bullied and pushed around by gruha kalyan to go to the police station. this is the only way gruha kalyan will come straight, and they will stop this fishy business they are upholding. I have booked a flat in Lily. I cancelled it on 20th May. Till now I have not receive any Cheque. I am also planning to go to Consumer Court.

We too booked the flat in the month of April and got a post dated cheque for the month of June and yesterday it got bounced.

I lodged the Fir. The officer there has kept it open till I get my refund. I got a cheque but was pretty sure it would get bounced. The president guaranteed it wouldn't bounce and now I am told president resigned! So I called Gruh Kalyan and the guy in charge(Zahid) said not to deposit cheque as there r no funds. Now he says he will pay cash. Worst experience ever! Now I want to see if they return in cash 2.6 lakhs. If not back to police station.
I was given 50, 000 cash out 2.6 lakhs. and after that they after hiding again.
