I had installed a new hathaway connection on saturday morning (22/06/2019).
The installation engineer came to setup the router and wiring on saturday morning and i was told the my account will be activated with 2 hours after that i will be able to use the internet.
But internet didn't started on saturday since no activation was done.
When i called the installation guy he told me that my internet will start working on sunday morning.
On sunday (23/06/2019) as well, no activation done and no internet connection. I again called the installation guy and he again told me that i will be able to use the internet by sunday evening. But no activation was done in the evening as well. After that i called your customer care regarding this issue but they categorically told me that they won't be able to help me. When i requested them to connect with their senior they told me that they will arrange a call back for me. But no one from hathway called me till now.
On monday (24/06/2019) i again called the installation guy 6 times and he again repeated the same thing.
Then at around 3:32 pm i got a message from hathway saying
"dear customer, welcome to hathway isp, your a/c # 11208* shailesh kaul portal id shailesh102518* and email id: [protected]@gmail.com selfcare password: hathway123 internet password: [protected]@123. Help line no[protected] and e-mail id [protected]@hathway.net."
(The email id in your database is incorrect.
Correct one is [protected]@gmail.com)
But my internet didn't started, when i tried to connect to installation guy, he disconnected the call
And then i again called customer care and they told me that my account is activated but some request is pending and told me to wait. When i told them to cancel my connection and initiate the refund, they categorically refused.
Today when i checked my account details i saw the billing started from monday but internet connection hasn't started yet. This is the cheating of the highest order.
I haven't seen such unprofessionalism from any company.
You people are charging people without providing the services. This is not acceptable at any cost.
Please refund me the money or extend my plans validity as i have paid for a month and the charging should start when iam provided with the services.
Please resolve the issue as soon as possible, else i will file a case in the consumer court against hathway.
Fyi : i was a hathway customer earlier about 2yrs back but i disconnected my connection with few months due to your poor and unprofessional service. But this time i was assured by hathway that they have improved their services and i won't face any issues, but your services are getting pathetic day by day and your customer care guys are the most unprofessional people.
