Hathway Cable & Datacom — legal notice after 2 years of connection closure from hathway | |||
I had personally gone to their pune office and paid my prepaid bill and requested to close the connection. No one at that time told me to submit the modem. Now all of a sudden after 2years i got calls from some lawyer of delhi high court that a case is filed against me for not submitting modem. I called the customer care and they said i have to pay rs.7500/- as due amount. I was not informed or given any notice at my permanent address or received any call or mail. When i went to their pune office at j. M. Road i learnt that my plan was converted from prepaid to postpaid how, when and why i don't know. The person in charge mr. Rakesh phuge was very rude and said that we have provided you service so you have to pay. I haven't used their service since march2016 then on what basis are they claiming this much amount. They offered me a settlement amount of rs.4500/- and modem charges of rs2500/-. All this is just utter nonsense, unethical practice and harassment of customers. I want to file a case against them for such defamation and harassment. Was this information helpful? | |||
