[Resolved] Hathway Cable & Datacom — Poor Quality of Service | |||||
I recently got a Hathway connection. It stopped working after 4 days. I have been unable to reach an agent who can think beyond restarting the modem since then. I keep trying to explain that they have a problem with the connection and not the modem (which is working fine when I tested with my neighbours ACT as well), but either they do not have the manpower or they are too lazy to make a trip out to the field. Additionally I have never been able to reach an agent before 8 AM on their so called 24x7 care lines. I honestly think this company does not care about their customer experience and service quality and also has no clue how to manage their employees - who are leaving posts unmanned and taking work avoidance steps instead of taking care of their customers properly. I have also called 4 times to request for disconnection without being able to get through to anyone - so I have put it in the text for a service request and shall stop paying the bill and disconnect formally when they call about this.
