Hathway — No closure of account/refund initiation even after 1.5 months of notice | |||||
Hi, I was a hathway internet customer for close to 2 years. I usually recharge for 3 months in advance. This time I needed to shift my house to bhandup east to vikhroli west and I was told by the hathway team that my connection could be shifted (I'd shared new address proof etc.) for the same. The team is so slow with response that they didn't even get back in 2 weeks. Why would a customer pay in advance for 2 weeks when they can take their own time to shift their connection 3kms away in the same city! This is really hilarious and unacceptable. On Jan 14th (After 10s of phone calls to customer care and multiple email follow-ups) I sent them an email to close my account with immediate effect and refund me the 2 month fee which they had received in advance and initial deposit. No response after 40 days!! This shows deliberate negligence and intention to fool a customer. In a age where customer shifts vendors within a day, if hathway is so so negligent in customer queries and complaints with such a terrible terrible customer care team God save their business!
