[Resolved] Hathway — Pathetic internet service by Hathway and no refund | |||
This is Nishchita. I'm from Hyderabad. I have been using Hathway's internet services for almost four years. There has never been any major issue with their internet service provider. Even if there was any issue they used to send an intimation that internet service would be down for a specific period of time and after such time was over the internet service was restored again. Previously when there was any kind of issue with the modem or internet service we could write what the issue was in the app and raise an issue. Following which a customer service executive would appear at our door to solve the problem. But now everything has changed. Since the last two months there is a terrible issue with the service and the customer care team is just the worst. The plan I have taken is "BB2 50 Mbps Unlimited Pre 6 Mtly". The internet issue was persisting since last two months and I used to go to app to raise an issue twice a week. But from the last month, the situation has gone out of hand. The internet service is completely down. No matter how many complaints I raise in the app it shows that the issue has been solved and asks for a feedback which is pathetic. I even went to their official twitter account and tweeted the issue to which there was no proper response. Even in the app previously we could type the issue manually but now they have placed a stupid chatbot named Diva which just doesn't make any issue and it doesn't solve any problem at all. I'm fed of having to raise an issue every single day and in the end I don't get results. My work, my studies and every other online task is affected due to this worst service by Hathway. I even initiated a refund in the app and one lady called and she told she'll send someone to my house to look into the issue. But nobody came and neither was I contacted again. I made repeated effort to get my refund but everything went in vain. There's a lot of mental agony one has to go through just because of this idiotic service. I paid 3249.72 for this package and it is all waste now. I just want my refund and extra for the damages caused. Their pathetic service has cost me a lot. I can't take it anymore. Because of the pandemic there is obviously an increased need of proper internet connection to complete all the online tasks. If at this point of time they provide these kind of services how should one live peacefully. I urge that the company needs to change it's services for the better or it shouldn't exist. It's like fraud wherein I pay but I don't get the rightful services that I deserve. Was this information helpful? | |||
