My hathway broadband a/c. no. 995827 and I have been continuously facing the problem of frequent disconnections. I have registered the complaint many times at the customer care number of hathway and they assure that the problem will get resolved in 24 hours. However, the most of the times does not get resolved and/or sometimes gets resolved but only for 2-3 hours or for 3-4 days at the maximum. Both me and my wife are working so we rarely use the internet on weekdays but on weekends when we try using it, we face frequent disconnections. We lodge the complaint and they say that the engineer will pay a visit but nobody turns up and they change the status of the complaint from pending to closed. Today i.e. on 12th April, 2015, when my wife called at the customer care number, they said the same thing. Then, my wife spoke to the supervisor named Mr. Mohammad Ali who again made the same promise that the issue will get resolved in 24 hours and the engineer would pay a visit at our place but when asked about the timing for the visit, the phone got disconnected. She again called them and this time, she was made to speak to one Mr. Shivendra Sharma, the senior supervisor who said that the compalint will be resolved within 24 hours at their end and if the same does not happen, their engineer would pay a visit at our place. My wife asked about the time when the engineer would visit as both o[censored]s are working, he said that he had no idea to which my wife said that she would like to talk to the engineer who would pay the said visit to which Mr. Shivendra said he could not give the number. Now, I don't know as to whether we are supposed to leave our office and sit at our home and wait for the hathway engineer to pay a visit at our home. This is heights of irresponsibility. Hathway takes payment for its future services in advance and now I, having paid for it cannot switch to other broadband service also. This is completely irresponsible and uncalled for and amounts to cheating innocent clients like us.
