[Resolved] Havells India — mixer grinder - issue with motor under warranty | |||||
I had purchased havells mixer grinder, marathon (Series) with 5 years motor warranty. (Purchased in may 2015) Recently have created complaint for too much sound/noise from motor. Complaint number - gl272889 This was first closed by technician without even notifying me, on escalation they re-opened ticket. Technician charged me 200 rupee for servicing, even through motor was under warranty (Asked as home service charges). When is asked receipt he mentioned to forward in whatsapp which never happened! This was also supported by on call service support team (Who mentioned of receipt unavailability & will send latter in email/whatsapp). I need response on below: 1) if motor is under warranty - service charges need not be paid by customer? 2) if service charge is payable in warranty - share the invoice receipt with customer. Not following either of above is cheating and encourages corrupt practices. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Yea I have got a call from service representative...but seems they themself cheat customers.
To your comment ...
1) warranty card was available with me during visit of technician. But technician refused that...asked for bill.
Since product was purchased from more megastore (aditya birla grp.) Print doesn't stay for long time.
I asked technician to give time ...so that I can request a copy bill from store.
As agreed with technician I sent him duplicate bill in 2 hours time. He ealrier told to refund amount but never did that.
2) My direct question to Havells- don't you accept warranty card? And if bill is required you should have sent that in ticket confirmation message. So that customer is ready with pre-requisites.
I felt cheated...as customer service agent were also not helpful!
Never going for a Havells product again (fake claim for long warranty products).

After a week i called him again and he came and replaced the green LED light with red light. Next day heater stopped working completely. No hot water and no light glowing. Registered new complaint again, he came after 1 day and fixed the issue. Got very hot water in the evening even with low temperature setting. And it took 45 minutes to get hot water from the tap. Next day again no hot water and no bulb glowing. Called customer care and technician multiple times. Only answer is we will send/i'll come in 15 minutes. The technician without visiting the place has resolved the issue 3 times whenever i reopen the ticket. Very bad experience with Havells customer care and technician
