HDFC Bank Ergo General Insurance — Providing policy forcefully | |||||
I received a call from HDFC Ergo recently and they said that I have to register for a policy to protect my credit card and it's mandatory for me. They will provide me a health insurance policy plan for 2 years. Unless I take the policy they will snatch back my credit card. I enquired about the matter with our nearest HDFC Bank where I was assured that there is no such terms and conditions of opening a mandatory policy. That's why on the next day, when I got the same call from HDFC Ergo, I directly refused it. But today on 20/03/2016 I have received an SMS from HDFC bank that my credit card was debited for an amount of Rs. 9000 against the HDFC Ergo policy and they will send the policy details shortly. Now I want my money back and if I don't get it then I will file a case against the company in the court. Please help me out of this situation. Was this information helpful? | |||||
