HDFC Bank — false promise from hdfc people for regalia credit card — please revert back money.

Hi

I got hdfc regalia credit card 3 months back with assurance of no charges for the first year. Now they charged me 2500+ 450 gst. I called customer care and raised a complaint. They told some sales team will reach out to me but no one called me. Please revert back me the money so that i will go ahead and cancel the credit card. I do not want to continue with your credit card anymore. I am very unhappy with your services.

The reference number of my complaint is 'HBL=[protected]'. I got this from HDFC bank. So please do the needful on how to revert back the charged money and also I want to cancel the credit card.

We wish to inform that your credit card has been issued as a priced card and in view of the same, a fee of Rs.2500.00 plus GST is applicable as per the product feature. Accordingly, fee plus GST was billed to your card account. To be eligible for a renewal fee waiver, you are required to meet a spend threshold of Rs.300000.00 within a year. We request you to use your credit card account for the said spend limit to get the renewal fee waiver. Hi,

You mentioned that credit card has been issued as a priced card which I do not accept. While taking the card they told me first year it is free and will be charged from second year. This means HDFC people cheated me right? My personal banker confirmed me that the card is absolutely free for first year.Now I do not want to continue with your card. So please revert back my money then I will proceed with cancelling your card. Please do the needful quickly so that I will close the card.

I sent email and I opened complaint through customer care, I gave card details and mobile number details but no one is addressing the issue. Is this the way HDFC cheat people by giving false promises and again saying its charged? Do not play with people just to fill your stomach. You tell clearly what you can and what you cant just to meet your targets you people are cheating innocent people. This is not fair. Your bank alredy lost credibility.
