You can call to register your complaint at consumer foruml [protected] OR 14404 full complain details are here. Hi I have been facing issues with the two policies which I purchased in December 2016. Policies # are 18892123 and 18860311. a) Policy # 18860311 One of your executive called my wife and said today is Maha log in day so we are giving two benefits with the policy one is 20% cash back and a medical card. Then he connect her to Harshita Kaur contact: [protected] and she informed the same thing to her. Under 20% cashback scheme you will receive 12000 within 40 days of purchase of policy and under medical card benefit you can cover 5 members of the family with a sum of 1.5 lac.My wife provided them my contact number.Now another person came into picture whose name was Akash Wadhwa, contact: [protected], e-mail: akash.[protected]@hdfclife.com. He convinced me to take the policy under my name and in return he will provide the cash back for two consecutive years. so, finally we purchased the policy under my name. b) Policy # 18892123 After purchase of first policy Akash called me again with a lucrative offer to get an Activa free with a pension plan of Rs. 85000.Either you can get an Activa or Rs. 38000 cashback.I refused as I had already purchased a policy.He called me again and said I have to pay on;y Rs. 65000 and he can provide 45000 cashback and in this policy I will get Rs.1850 every month for seven years. again we got into the trap and purchased the policy FRAUD: During the purchase of first policy after providing my documents Akash said you will again receive a call for documents just provide the wrong address so that nobody reaches you. I got reluctant and refused to provide the wrong address. He said ok you provide the address but nobody will come to collect the docs.as I got suspicious I asked him questions and he gave explanation that under IRDA we can not sell the policy directly. So we are involving third party and you need to lie to them that we are not providing any benefits. Till today we have not received any benefits and now Harshita is not answering the call and Akash has switched off his phone. I am really in a bad financial situation now as I have to pay my credit card bills and I don't have money to pay. Either provide me the refund or I will file a complaint in Consumer forum. Today Morning I received a call regarding policy HDFC Life Sanchay, A person named Nikhil Rathore as Process Manager at HDFC life as described by him.He called from a landline number[protected] and given me his mobile no. ([protected]).
He ask me for the cheque of 40K after that I called the HDFC customer care and ask for the authenticity of that person, after that I discovered that was a fraud and HDFC people said pls ignore those calls.
So I raise my complaint here please look into this matter seriously.
