HDFC Bank — Harassment caused by hdfc bank by sending unnecessary sms | |||||
Hi all, I need to focus the attention on the unnecessary harassment caused by the hdfc bank by sending unnecessary sms demanding money from my (Salary account - requested for closeure) hdfc bank account on the pretext of maintaining the minimum balance. The case is like this that i was holding the salary account with hdfc bank and i had already left my job in last october 2015.In the month of november 2015, i had already withdraw my balance from hdfc bank and do nothing still date with those account. I had already couriered the letter with passbook to close my accounts with them. But from the last 2 months, i am getting the sms saying that your account balance was not maintained so there is 300 inr something is penalty. This sms is coming is each month. I don't know why the hdfc bank people are either illiterate or don't know the govt policies, if not then they should read the following link : http://timesofindia.Indiatimes.com/business/india-business/no-penalty-for-bank-balance-below-minimum-limit-rbi-to-...⇄ Cms I think hdfc bank is the worst bank of clerical people who does not understand the english and that why don't know about the govt. Policies. I am planning to report this matter to ombudsman against the hdfc Please note that the next time, if i got any sms of this kind then i will take the necessary action as the indian citizen against the hdfc bank. This is with reference to my complaint against HDFC Bank "HBL=[protected]' ref ID- TTU[protected]", I have already discussed and received the mail from HDFC bank stating this :

We understand that our official Ms. Meera Barma sent an e-mail to you on July 05, 2016 and informed you the process to be followed for your account.
You may write back to her for further assistance.
2) Account number ending with **********3423
We understand that our branch official Ms. Aditi Wadhawan tried contacting you on the registered mobile number but was unable to get through. We wish to inform you that the outstanding amount of Rs.2, 089.44 has been waived off as a one time service gesture.
It has been our constant endeavor to serve our customers with required element of precision in service and thereby striving for customer delight.
and now I am getting SMS for June month and the amount is doubled, I must said that This is the begging to ask me to stay with HDFC bank account.
I must said that I will not pay a single penny and will going to take this matter forward to Ombudsman .
