[Resolved] HDFC Bank — hdfc bank credit card unauthorized & fraud / dispute transaction | |||
Today 11/01/2018 at 16:10:22 pm an unauthorized and fraudulent online transaction was made with my hdfc credit card which was not used amazon prime by me (The card is with me) for some us based merchant. The amount of transaction is rs.963.11. Immediately i blocked my card and applied for investigation. Now as per the bank it will take 50 to 60 days for the investigation!!! In the meantime the bill for the month will be prepared which would include that unauthorized and disputed amount of rs. 963.11+ foreign transaction amount which i would not be able to pay. This is a terrible mental pressure for me which will be carried out for two months!!! A huge mental stress. I never expected such dispute. It is purely a security lapse.
