HDFC Bank — HDFC FOREX | Unauthorized handling of customer funds in FOREX PREPAID CARD

I had applied for a forex card and application for cancelled the first time, So I had reapplied it and had deposed 1400 AUD. I had received a message to come and collect the card from the nearest branch. On visiting the branch, they have given me a card for the rejected application, which is basically invalid. I had been carrying an invalid forex card, which dint not have my deposited Australian dollar. I was fortunate enough to have found with well ahead of my travel date. After a few days on FEB 4th 2022, I got to know from my credit card notification that that my forex deposit has been reversed to my account. Only after that, on calling customer care multiple time and spending more than 4 hours on call, after multiple misleading responses, I got to figure out that, the card I was holding was invalid and of a rejected application and does not have any money in it. The card for the approved application was at the bank to be picked up and since nobody came to pick up the deposited amount has been reversed. This whole issue has caused me a lot of time, stress and loss of money, all just because of your lack of customer service.
My application for forex card was rejected, nobody cared to call and support me why it was rejected, I had to reapply it myself. The branch has not verified and issued an invalid card, that held none of my deposited money. I am under the belief that this card is valid and has my full recharged currency. The valid card when it laid uncollected at the branch (HSR LAYOUT III, BENGALURU), nobody from the branch cared to inform me when branch had all contact information of the customer. Finally, you have even reversed my forex deposit even without checking with me. This unacceptable for such a careless treatment towards your customer. I repeat, you have caused me lot stress, loss of my valuable time and loss of money, because to redeposit the same amount it is going to cost more due to the increase in currency rate from then to now. I regret to blame your careless and irresponsible customer service for all problems caused and personal losses caused to me. I have already registered a complaint with HDFC (MUMC[protected]).
