HDFC Bank Life Insurance — Wrong status updated to LAPSED

I have started HDFC Life Classic Assure Plus Plan on 12th June 2013 which has Premium paying term 7 years and Policy term 15 years. POLICY NO 16115360.After paying premium for 2 years I didnot pay the premium on 3rd year due to financial crisis with assumption that policy will be marked as PAID-UP and I can take back my money after 15 years.However I found the after greace period the policy marked as LAPSED.As per the policy document I can see that if premium paying term is 7 years then after 2 years of premium payment policy will generate a Guaranteed surrender value and if premium is not paid after grace period policy will be PAID UP in case policy has a guaranteed surrender value.However the company marked it as LAPSED and now they are Harassing me since last 2 months to change the policy status. I have contacted their service helpdesk multiple time over phone and email everyone accepted that this is mistake but this is not corrected. Every week they are calling me for paying premium but whenever I am raising my concern NO-RESPONSE.Since the policy is marked as LAPSED now they are neither ready to change it PAID UP neither they are ready to pay minimum guaranteed surrender value.
