[Resolved] HDFC Bank — money is on hold wrongly and must be returned to me | |||
I have a complain regarding my amount (Inr 1450) is on hold. Case- I have a bank account in hdfc and my friend has his account in indusind bank. My friend transferred me inr 725 through indusind bank ios app on date 14 sept, 17. But when amount was deducted 3 times (725 each time) from his bank and transaction details are also showing that. I have also received the amount 3 times (725 each time). My friend informed me that extra amount is credited to you and then i transfer the inr 1450 (Extra two times credited) amount. Indusind bank might have raised a complain and eventually my money (Inr 1450) had gone on hold by hdfc bank. What i want is: i want my hdfc to remove hold from my money as there is no concern from my friend because i have transferred the amount to him. If bank ask me to deduct money from my account and want to give refund to my friend, then i have no concern as i can get the amount from him manually. Kindly do the needful. Verified Support Dec 15, 2017 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Lalit, Kindly note that the hold has been placed in your account basis instruction received from the concerned bank towards incorrect IMPS transfers.
