[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Negative balance in my account | |||
I got my salary account opened by my first company in hdfc bank, but after switching to a new company they had opened another account for me. However my salary account in hdfc bank is been converted into saving account initially they deducted few bucks from my account as a penalty and now it's in negative. According to new rbi guidelines banks are not supposed to penalise where as hdfc bank is saying that it does not allow the balance in a savings account to go negative due to imposition of charges for non-maintenance of minimum balance (http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/No-negative-balances-in-savings-accounts-RBI/articlesho...⇄ but still i am amazed how they are charging me as if i am not at all using there services.
