HDFC Bank — No acion on my request | |||
I have a salary account with HDFC Bank. In the month of March due to unavoidable expenses like children annual fee etc and Income tax deductions, I could not maintain sufficient balance. Bank blocked my 1762 Rs when I needed each single rupee. I called up customer care number and requested them not to block my funds.I also politely mentioned that ever since my account was opened, my funds have never been insufficient. I have not taken any personal loan or something that EMI shall be deducted. The only challenge was that I could not manage to keep sufficient balance for mutual funds deduction. I called up and registered a complaint with number DELC[protected] on 21 March 2015 .Surprisingly no one ever called me from HDFC and icing on the cake Bank went on deducting more and more penalty amount. I was short of words. I called several times and our young, untrained bunch unable to resolve my complaint, kept transferring calls but never got any solution. If you shall see my March statement, instead of reverting to my request or processing reversal of 1762, Bank deducted more amount instead and I paid more than Rs 2700 when I needed that most. This is not right from any perspective. When Customer asks for help, Bank should consider previous record and approve waivers. No waiver, not even one phone call from Customer Care. How can I believe that such an esteemed Bank is different from any Sarkari Daftar I hope my grievance reaches the right level and I get my amount back with a note of apology.
