HDFC Bank — payment dispute to wrong credit card number | |||
On 24th august 2018, i had wrongly made a payment of rs 13, 000 to a wrong credit card number [protected] through bill desk reference number nscb[protected]. Upon recognising the mistake i had called hdfc credit card customer care same day and was guided to send a form with details to credit card team in chennai. Later on 4th september 2018, i received a response to send reference number again and write a letter on the complaint giving a detail which i did and sent the letter with snapshot of transaction detail acknowledment copy. Today when i again called credit card customer care team, they havent given any clarity on resolving the issue and has given no update on when would the transaction will be reversed. The card where i made the payment by error does not belong to me or any of my family member. Every call attended by customer care team is giving different version on the complaint. Along with the letter sent to hdfc i had sent the bank statement from where payment was made and that belonged to me only and had debit of 13000 rs debit.
