HDFC Bank — Poor handling of policy surrender | |||||
During policy surrender the claim amount was different without any mention of tax. Then came tax. Then the agency changed which asked to submit papers again. This took more than a month. Then annual, half yearly, quarterly and monthly pension options were given of which agent had no clues of calculation. The annual amount was changed in 15 days due to their fortnightly change in rates. The problems are there is no document supporting these rates calculation and hdfc life sets the rates on their own. Processing is slow by clueless agents who ask to talk to seniors on little matters, who again are clueless and depend on system generated information. Was this information helpful? | |||||
